  1. Korea has the highest DV cases in Asia with 8/10 women suffering some sort of verbal, mental and physical abuse from Korean men. Infact Vietnamese, Japanese, South east Asians, Russian women suffer extreme violence from Korean husbands with many prominent cases.

  6. To foreign women who want to marry Korean men. It's an extremely abusive patriarchal hell that you can't escape from unless divorced. Korean men lure foreign women by pretending to be romantic and kind. They also know many of these women shape their ideas of K men from K dramas. It's starts out with mean teasing, then bullying. Then you'll see sudden outburst of savage anger. This is a Hwabyeong, a genetic trait of Korean/Jurchens. Later comes misogynistic treatment, heavy drinking, flirting with other women, getting the foreign wife to cook, clean, do all house chores and be prepared to submissively serve him at night. If you're unlucky, you may get into physical altercations and be beaten. Of cos, the in-laws will side with him no matter what as the foreigner is an outsider and Koreans are always right (jingoistic nationalism). Korean women know Korean men's evil heart and vice versa. That's why you'll notice they avoid each other like the plague in foreign countries and date foreigners.
