  4. Germany is up there for me. At least top 3. Softpower is very important for a country's popularity and Germany doesn't produce much international content in media unlike South Korea, which often gets mentioned by Japanese youths.

  17.  @ffm2764  Well, I won't rag on K-pop becos it's a matter of personal taste. But Korean food? lol, Koreans are not known for their cuisine like the Brits. The ones that are popular all derived from Chinese cuisine. Jajangmyeon, Ramyeon, Mandu, Tangsuyuk, Teopokki, Japchae and Kimchi.

  18.  @balkanmadnessmadeinaustria5837  Tbh, I haven't heard of any good German movies/dramas but there's Hans Zimmer. Also, Germans are similiar to Japanese in terms being industrious, hardworking and 'cold'. I was surprised no one mentioned Germany, but this was just a small sample interview.

  21. Lol, 6' 1 is hardly tall in East Asia anymore. The average Korean and Japanese male youth are easily 5' 10. Northern Chinese are huge. U would stand out in South east asia maybe.

Compare a German with an Australian who is more open and friendly at first glance. And compare a Japanese with a Chinese who is more open minded and direct in conversations.
