The country does not recognize Israel and created the PCOM in 2011, in order to spread awareness about the Palestinian cause. It is seen by the Israelis as an unofficial embassy of Hamas. This a country that favours the rights of Palestinian refugees, attracting potential influx of terrorists over the rights of their own Chinese and Indian citizens.
