  5. Koreans were not victims, they were accomplices of IJA. With over 200,000 conscripted soldiers mostly voluntary and paid well. Some of the top war criminals were Korean officers, soldiers, prison wardens committing war crimes across Asia Pacific including operations in China, Phillipines Baatan Death March etc. Many Korean war criminals couldn't be charged after the war because they were not recognized as Japanese.
