@finned958 Lol, same with K-towns. The Ajummas don't know any better. I've seen them chopping chicken heads in public drains behind restaurants and spitting too. They also hang socks, gloves on a string between public walls to dry.

@iivin4233 In my experience it's across the board. People make excuses for the young Chinese generation phasing out the bad old folks but they have equally terrible manners and poor social etiquette. Sometimes the younger ones are worse.

@abrahamissac5938 Agreed, I find the Mainland restaurants definitely less hygienic compared to their Hong Kong counterparts. I swear there's always this rancid pork smell that permeates the restaurants for some reason. Once my chopsticks and cutlery smelled like cockroaches. You'll know the smell. I can guarantee it crawled all over the plates as well. We asked for new chopsticks but same smell.
