I remember the TRS-80 micro computer, based on the Zilog CPU I find it interesting that Tandy/Radio Shack [TRS] was using a similar chip & naming convention with the Japanese system… too bad they did not get a closer relationship! Oddly enough, had Japan extended their hand of partnership to Tandy Radio Shack & Microware, they could have figured out a way to get OS-9 and MultiVue on their systems, when they were in need of a windowing system. Later, DAVID systems were released, using the Microware GUI, with systems like CD-I… Microware still exists, as a niche real time OS vendor, today
