  1. ⁠​⁠ @chavdarnaidenov2661 - “there was no fear at that time” There was still fear when I visited a couple decades ago. People made dark jokes about those fears, in Eastern Europe. Fear of disappearing. People still fear the government of Russia, today. Ask people on the streets and they don’t give you a straight answer about politics or policies. Fear of disappearing. I find it suspicious that there was fear before and after these events, but not during them.
