  1. This is a reasonable perspective. I would suggest that this is the reason why Germany has their weapons… not because of France or Italy… but Russia. If the weapons are not used in the invasion by Russia on the continent, they will never be used & will just rot as Russia invaded other nations in Europe. By the time Germany can use them, the borders will be so close that it will be too late after a Russian first strike, like they did to Ukraine.

Sometimes the elderly politicians, in nations where there are free & fair elections, need to understand sentiment of their people & what foreign people think of their policies [since it reflects on their nation & their nation’s people.] Once public opinion becomes clear enough, clear material support will follow. Right now, Germany dragging their feet will make Ukraine lose many more citizens & many more children, to war deaths & abduction & mass graves at the hands of genocidal maniac of Putin.

  3. Mining for lithium is an honorable thing, that will help The West, if war expands with China siding with Russia, especially if Taiwan is in China’s crosshairs.

  5. Nearly all of the money sent by the US funds drawdown of US Cold War stockpiles. The irony is that the old equipment is being used for it’s original designs… and the U.S. was getting ready to retire the equipment, anyway. The money is used like a debt card, where the border on a menu is done, and the US fulfills the order… like in a restaurant. The restaurant does not serve someone else’s food.

  7.  @therailgun_8299  - “where does it end?” If Ukraine would have gotten when they begged for, on day 1… it would have ended already. When tanks were lined up in columns, Ukraine begged for Worthogs, to destroy the tanks lined up, and The West was training Ukraine in insurgency operations for a fallen nation while offering Zelenskyy “a ride” out of Ukraine. Ukraine did not get the Worthogs to destroy the Russian tanks & artillery lined up in their territory, rejected the ride, so here we are today. Ukraine is a NATO partner, so they deserve anything NATO can provide to them, since they fought & bled along side NATO in every NATO conflict since their independence. Some think that it sux that an invaded NATO partner did not want to be the scapegoat, but decided to be the sacrificed goat that fought back… but kudos to Ukraine! Ukraine has balls of steel, while NATO got soft with the US nuclear umbrella. It ends when the invaded country of Ukraine kicks out the Putin flunky bastards who: invaded Ukraine , killed Ukrainian men in mass graves, castrated Ukrainian survivor men, raped & killed Ukrainian women, and stole Ukrainian children to move into re-education camps for future front line meat waves.
