The Democrat Party acquired the “black” voting block, but it was Gaddafi who used oil funding to bolster the US Black Power movement and Nation of Islam cult [which identifies lighter skin people as failed science experiment by black scientists of old... who were ironically leaders of the Democrat Party.] I am not surprised, in the least, that Democrats Obama, Biden, and Clinton found the time to get rid of him… Gaddafi had long been a foreign thorn in the US Democrat Party coalition. US Democrat Leadership had been using Sunni Islamists to overthrow Syria 🇸🇾 Shia government… after empowering Sunni Muslim Brotherhood extremists in Egypt 🇪🇬, empowering Sunni extremists in Libya 🇱🇾 had a huge benefit to their international foreign policy.

  2.  @ritchirodenbach8972  - I had a conversation about this, some years back. After looking into it, the African Currency link to Libya seemed like an element of truth in a greater conspiracy theory of misunderstanding of how things work in humanity & on a global scale. The currency would need to be linked to something significant, like Swahili language, disassociated from the Arab invaders & slave traders of the past 1300 years. (Libya is slaving again, after the fall of Gaddafi, some things never change.) A police force to protect people [from thieves] is needed. A military to protect against invaders [who thieve] is needed. France is merely a small nation that provides a degree of legal stability & security, with the ability to project stability & security for those who want their help. Nothing more. It has little to do with their currency. Security & Stability create a super power, because these things allow people to create without having their stuff get destroyed, without having their stuff get stolen, without being kidnapped to provide their unique labor for free, without having their women & children molested & killed [so the created things are passed down.] Until people understand that creation, security, and stability is the tripod on which civilization stands… people will be in endless cycles of theft & those regions remain poor. Gold is not necessary. In North America, $1 has a colloquial name of a “buck”… because a Buck Skin (skin of a deer) had that value, and people would trade the skin (because it held it’s value… not the fur, but embedded in the fur was the work to harvest & clean the animal, and the meat fed the harvesters along the way.) Gold is not necessary, it can be a renewable resource like animal skins. Creation [human work], Security [to keep creations from breakage & theft], and Stability [to appreciate & value] are at the heart of civilization… super power is the ability to project those positive attributes & defend from the negatives to other localities.

  3. Self determination with elected officials is something the average person wants, those who don’t want it prefer chaos [since the average person does not want chaos and it makes dictatorship palatable.]

  4. ⁠ @houseplant1016 - “American?” Gaddafi was pumping oil money 💴 into supporting the Black Power & Nation of Islam (Black scientists flying around the earth in a Mother Ship, holding their dead prophet) - both of these were thorns in the side of the Democrat Party. It is no surprise that the US Democrat Party got rid of Gaddafi, when they had the chance. American Democrats were very happy to get rid of him. American Center & Right, not happy at all about it [at the time], nor happy about it now. The US Right is typically not externally focused on interfering with internal affairs of foreign governments [ie Trump’s disengagement policies] until it affects their homeland [ie 9/11.]
