The problem is liberal prosecutors are declining to prosecute theft in Democrat controlled localities… and for this reason Police do not want to put their lives & bystander lives at risk in arresting criminals who will not be prosecuted. This is the problem in many US Democrat run localities. The liberals targeted the prosecutor roles in the Democrat controlled areas via elections, to short-cut & liberate themselves from the legislative laws [democratically elected by citizenry], the judicial system [who guarantees rights of the accused], the executive branch law enforcement [who puts their lives at risk in place of innocent civilians.] It was an insidious action by liberals, to exploit a portion of the system which was designed to provide mercy for exceptional cases, by making the exception the rule. These Democrat prosecutors are evil, at their core.

⁠ @Governor-General.of.Qanada - “reduce housing cost” Enforce the border laws, so more people are not illegally entering than the nation is permitting housing to be built. If the government wants to not enforce the law, then it is their obligation to not impact the lives of citizens like driving the cost of housing way up. This is a basic elementary school math problem.

If you do not arrest people for a crime, the crime statistics appear to drop, but the theft / crime is still occurring. If you do not prosecute the arrested people for the crimes they committed, then the crime rate appears to drop, but the theft / crime is still occurring. If you know the police are not going to arrest the people who committed the crime, then you stop calling the police, but the theft / crime is still occurring. Then, businesses close & people leave, because government had failed its only true job — maintain law & order for all people to live in a fair society.

@DuckGoat-mr9tu - buying homes and renting pieces of it is helping to reduce housing costs… if more people cross the border illegally than housing is being built, then taking housing meant for smaller families & turning it into higher capacity rental should alleviate the housing need by making more efficient use of rooms in houses and reduce the cost of housing for all by better satisfying demand. The reason housing prices are rising is because demand continues to increase. At some point, an election will occur & the border will be controlled, then housing prices will moderate. This is a 100% fixable process, from the top, in the United States. If Trump can moderate illegal immigration, any competent US executive can moderate it. The question is whether the US President is competent.

But large Democrat run cities, where most of the population is for Democrat run states, are absolutely more permissive of crime, and this is where people are leaving. - cities in various California cities have live updated “poop maps”, where people are warned about where they have to walk - in declining Democrat run cities, needles litter the ground, to be washed down storm sewage systems and into the coastal waters - in declining Democrat run cities, drug laws are not enforced, but rather people are encouraged to peruse their addictions with Democrat city supplied drug paraphernalia, addicts live homelessly for awhile, and die in the streets (thus how Democrats resolve some of their drug addiction & homeless issues.) - criminals are declined to be prosecuted, so they are not arrested, they immediately commit more crimes again, and people just become numb to it & eventually leave If you don’t understand what is happening in the Democrat run cities of the US, you should not talk about it
