I like the blinkers which wrap around, so if people are passing in a lane that others may get warning in their blind spots.

“Raw materials are going to come from” @waynerussell6401 - “climate change” Yeah, the mining & transport of all those raw materials for BEV’s have such a large carbon footprint that it takes tens of thousands of miles before there is opportunity to break even with an ice vehicle. By the time the battery vehicle catches up, in carbon footprint, it is time to change the battery… and likely that means nothing was truly done to combat global warming. This is all too complex. It is time to revolutionize by simplifying vehicles, for the poor.

It is a shame, considering liquid fuel holds a lot more energy than batteries do, in the same volume. If the same effort was done with ice as was done with Tesla, we would have far more efficient cars: I miss my 30 year ago 4 door car that got 40 mpg highway. There is no excuse for us not to have simple 50 mpg cars today, except regulation & fashion pushed things to become bigger… maybe it was all protectionism.

Ford had offered different battery options for a decade. Electric, plug in hybrid, hybrid, and straight ice. The question is whether people would pay for it. The market needs a cheap vehicle, in all categories, forget the extras, so lower income levels can engage.

When you get used to an instrument panel,, it starts to become understandable when someone brands themselves by manufacturer. I try to rent a car from the same brand I normally drive, because I know where things are. It is convenience & safety.

@tianjohan4633 - “you can choose any car you fancy, from any manufacturer” Yep! That is the beauty of our society! Choosing a car where I am familiar with the feel of the electronics and mechanical workings is great! “don’t be a chump” Like someone who calls others names? ROTFL! Have a great day!
