  3.  @JasonWW2000  - “shows the military what is possible” And I think this is exactly the point… Using a former military civilian brand helps communicate that the objective put forth by the current administration to decarbonize has a possible roadmap… if they can afford it. Not just for show, but a VERY working prototype as a basis for future military contract. At least the military has a listing of features to write into their RFP, now, which a GM contract can fulfill. On the negative side… A bullet in a battery would cause Lithium Batteries to go up in flames, though… unlike a petrol tank, which just springs leaks (and this can be mitigated with self sealing gas tanks, so liquid carbon fuel still seems to be more practical in a war.)

  4. See 19:45 for capacities. The pouch cells are certainly “lean”, very little volume lost to air gaps in cylindrical cells, and these pouch cells & modules is used across multiple vehicle platforms, better in watt hour per kg compared to Tesla

  5. “This was all done for show” No, likely done for future military contract where they need electric vehicles to transport soldiers… steel a better choice than aluminum
