  1. People that say Bivol “ran” have no clue what happened that night. Bivol outlanded Artur. That doesn’t happen if you “run”. That was an insanely technical fight and I was tense the entire time. In fact at one point my wife had to tell me to stop squeezing her hand so hard…I had no idea I was even holding her hand. Great fight and 100% run it back.

  2. As a boxer I think there’s definitely an argument to put him above Mayweather despite the loss (especially if Pac-Man was sick as was he was rumored to be during the fight). Overall as a boxing ambassador and all around stellar human being he is light years beyond Mayweather. Pac-Man will be President one day for sure. No doubt about that.

  6. A great week of boxing. Can't think of a better week of boxing in my lifetime. For real boxing fans I mean. But I have to say that the lack of coverage regarding what Inoue achieved earlier this week in what he did against Fulton has been a little bit upsetting. However, this week has bee a treat for boxing fans and I look forward to the Bud v Spence fight. I see Bud winning but I could also argue myself into a Spence win. But...I pick Bud.

  7. totally agree. However, the lack of coverage the Inoue v Fulton fight has had has been pretty depressing. What Inoue achieved was absolutely amazing in that fight.

  13. To be fair this pandemic and the delay it causes gives Wilder a better chance than if they fought in June. I still think he gets beat but at least now he has time to try and adapt and in the meantime Fury might not do well cooped up for a period of time.

  14. Can’t remember who it was against but in one professional fight Fury somehow managed to uppercut himself in the face. Couldn’t knock himself out though.

  25.  @rickocconnell9056  it’s definitely the case that a lot of people put Mayweather above Pac-Man and then point to the loss to Mayweather as some sort of proof. I personally put Pac-Man above Mayweather despite the loss.

  27. The last thing to leave a fighter is power. Wilder’s straight right is freaky. But…he has to plant his feet to throw it. Fury and Parker didn’t let him do that. Zhang is slow and there will be moments in the fight where he lets Wilder plant his feet and throw the straight right. If that happens then Zhang will go down. Zhang should win…but not if he lets Wilder plant his feet and throw the straight right.

And again…a runner doesn’t land punches. A boxer does. I know I’m not going to change your mind and I’m not attempting to. But Bivol outlanded Artur. Let’s see how the rematch plays out.
