@douglaswalters2670 no point in fighting for no belts right now. Maybe in the future though 👍
1
@douglaswalters2670 well we actually have to wait for the AJ v Usyk winner before we will know who fights Fury. And the Whyte v Fury winner for that matter.
1
@douglaswalters2670 I’ll circle back around to you then mate 😉
1
@PipJim80 well I’m a Scotsman who served in the British Army and has resided in the US for 14 years ha ha. But my loyalties are to boxing and not any one individual. I think AJ v Wilder should happen at some point but I really don’t know if Wilder comes back again and who knows what’ll happen with AJ after the second Usyk fight regardless of the outcome? 🤷

@94FADE 🥱

@lordfarquard9902 I think that’s a very fair observation and may be entirely correct. I am very sympathetic/empathetic to mental health problems as I also have my own issues especially as related to PTSD from the Army and more recently a fairly serious head trauma. But still makes what I said correct in that it’s hard to support Fury even though I empathize with him. As for the AJ thing I don’t agree. What I have observed is that there seems to be a lot less sympathy for AJ than for Fury. I might be wrong but that’s my two cents.
1
@rosiemason-rk4cm I wouldn’t know. Sorry.
1
@JackJones-jn4oq did you read my original comment on this thread mate?
1
@JackJones-jn4oq and it’s, “Were you in the Army?” Not, “Was you in the Army?”. I know that might seem pedantic but as a British Army Officer correcting language and grammar was par for the course.
1
@JackJones-jn4oq for sure write what you want. Not sure why your gripe with Usyk has anything to do with my military service. Did you serve previously or do you currently serve in a military regiment friend?
1
@JackJones-jn4oq I was in the 51st Highlander Regiment. Then I commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Passed out of the Royal Corps of Signals Troop Commander course out of Blandford. Served in Cyprus, Nepal, mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. That ok for you? Oh and I boxed and was undefeated.
1
@JackJones-jn4oq no need to give Usyk a break. If he becomes Undisputed he will bring more eyes to his people. Don’t you worry about him mate. He knows what he’s doing 😉
1
@JackJones-jn4oq I appreciate you saying that. Thank you. That’s a lot of amateur fights and a great winning percentage. As for Usyk I don’t know enough about his personal life to comment but he seems to be respected by Wlad, Vitali and Zelenskyy when it comes to his support for his homeland. Other than that I can’t really comment.
1
@Haze2121 Disagree. The Fury v Ngannou one was pretty lame compared to the other three. Think the marketing and production teams were still finding their stride (and budget!) with that one since it was the first of the recent four promos of that type. Looked like they didn’t put the same sorta money into it.
1
@tloustrats correct. And no Heavyweight has held all 4 major belts simultaneously…yet.
1
I can get behind Canelo... but not that music.
1
If it happens…and it’s a big if. If AJ becomes 3x then become Undisputed…will the haters give him flowers? Or will there be other new excuses?
1
If AJ beats Ngannou my hope is that Usyk beats Fury. Why? I’d love to see a Ben Davidson and AJ team face Usyk. If a Ben Davidson and AJ team faces Fury I wouldn’t even watch it. It’s over before it starts. AJ walks right through him. NOW…If Ben isn’t involved OR goes back to Fury then the tides turn. Interesting times ahead either way. But I’d love to see an AJ with Ben pairing take on a third Usyk fight for everything.
1
Huck Finn never been in a fight in your life...clearly. Stop by my place and I'll sort that out for you snowflake.
1
What does that mean? Jon Jones is an MMA guy right? Do you mean you want a boxer to best (as in beat) Jon Jones? Or do you mean you think Jon Jones is the best MMA fighter? Use words mate…it helps.
1
They can’t. Only works if Fury wants it and he has been clear that he doesn’t. He’s moved on and so do we. Boxing is riddled with great fights that never happened and this is another one most likely 🤷♂️

I’ve tried so many times to understand the Franchise Belt situation and why it’s “helpful”. Going to listen to this with an open mind and see if he can finally explain it to me in a positive way.
1
lol Love Seeing Jake trying to convince Fast Car Eddie that he (Jake) wants it more than everyone in the room combined. No one wants it more or hustles harder than Mr. Edward Hearn. You ain't gonna win that fight with or without 10oz gloves and/or a head guard.
1
Wow! He’s extremely gifted. Talent, ring IQ, power, focus…the whole package. And only 24! Very impressive.

Anyone that can pass a physical can become a professional boxer. Doesn’t mean they can box. In fact many very successful professional boxers have great careers and retire having never been able to box. So Jake is a pro boxer…but it doesn’t mean he can box. Time will tell. Totally agree that most pro boxers by their sixth fight have fought complete nobodies worse than some of Jake’s opponents. And I am noooooooo fan of Jake Paul btw. Just the facts.

@arnoldrayos9444 really Arnold? Seriously? The “Tell Me Without Telling Me” challenge is pretty old even by social media standards and dates back to eons before the internet or publishing were even around. Got anything else Arnold?
1
@leoalcaraz6153 I mentioned nothing about MMA largely because I know nothing about it. I’m not even a “casual” in that area. Boxing though? Very different story. You clearly didn’t read what I commented on properly. Even if you did it’s obvious that you didn’t understand it. I won’t address your trolling remark regarding “casual” because that just makes you look “less than”. But go back and reread what I wrote. Then if you have any questions and can ask those without resorting to offensive remarks then I’m more than happ to address them. All the best 👍
1
@leoalcaraz6153 “yup and almost 50 spent his best years in mma” What are you referring to? I don’t understand what you are talking about. I didn’t comment about anything remotely connected to your statement. Please explain.
