But if you truly believe what you say, then you must also believe that The US wanted WWII in The Pacific as there is ample evidence that The US knew of a possible attack on the Navy Base at Pearl Harbor for several days before the Dec 7th 1941 attack.

If you will take a look at this breakdown there are quite a few nations with more debt per capita than the United States including The UK, The Netherlands, Ireland, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Norway, Malta and several more.
