  6.  @Rob-vg8kq  Except when a Police Office arrests someone they are rarely happy about it regardless of what they have done. Without Qualified Immunity every arrest an Officer made, the defendant would sue him and then agree to drop the case if the State dropped the charges. If you know the Legal System then you know that you can sue just about anyone for just about anything whether it has merit or not and the person being sued still has to defend themselves by hiring a Lawyer which can easily run into Tens Of Thousands of dollars.

  17.  @cheryal2809  The reason Qualified Immunity exists is this. If it did not, EVERY person arrested would attempt to sue the Officers to get out of the charges. If every time an officer went to work they had to worry about loosing everything they had, no one would do that job regardless of what they were. I guess I will ask you this,. Would you support ALL politicians loosing immunity and being able to be sued for ANYTHING they did?
