In 1964 The Democrats held a 17 seat Majority in the Senate and had a 2/3 Majority in The House as well as a Democrat President. Here we sit 60 years later and The Republicans control The House, The Senate AND The Presidency. So if Democrats were doing as well as you seem to think they are, shouldn't they have something like a 27 or 28 seat Majority in The Senate and a 3/4 majority in The House? But hey, let's not let FACTS get in the way of feelings.
