We allow people with multiple DWI's to continue to purchase alcohol. Why is that acceptable?

@dawnsmith9596 Then figure out a way to regulate mental illness because that is the problem. Blaming guns for violence is like blaming food for fat people. People have been killing people since long before guns existed.

I'm more afraid that I will be killed by a Drunk Driver considering that more than 140,000 people were killed last year as a result of alcohol. Much higher numbers than guns. I think we should ban all alcohol except Beer and limit purchase to two 12oz cans a day. Also you must have a permit and pass a background check to make sure that you don't have any DWI's or other alcohol offenses.

And how many people died today because of Alcohol? 255 people a day. Do you find that acceptable? Why isn't there a permit required to buy alcohol and a background check to assure that the purchaser doesn't have any DWI's or other alcohol offenses?

Uhhhhh you do know that 9 out of 10 of the most violent cities in the US (do Chicago and Detroit ring a bell) are run by Democrats and have been for MANY years.
