And if that is sustainable, then why has the City of Los Angeles run a 250 mile pipeline from the Owens Valley in the Sierra Nevada mountains to bring them water? Why is the City of Las Vegas continually demanding more and more water from the Colorado River? I mean wouldn't their Ground Water be enough?
