@mary_bobespinoza6205 But they aren't "Making It's Payments", they are just incurring new ones. Making payments implies that you have money, not just making more debt that has to be dealt with next year.

If the rest of us are broke, we don't get to go borrow more so we can keep our Direct TV, $200/mo Gym Membership and go on vacation. Nope, we have to give some things up. So why can't the country do the same? How about you cut and save your above post and show it to your Grandchildren and explain why you are leaving them with $50 Trillion of debt30-40 years from now and apologize to them for leaving them a Third World Country.

@terryloftus3207 No, The Congress did and guess who was Speaker----That's Right it was Nancy Pelosi (D) California. If the debt is Trumps fault and the President can spend money (what would have been required for the debt to be Trumps fault) then why is Biden asking the Republicans for anything? He could just pass this budget himself.
