  1. How is this possible in a city with the Strict Gun Control that Chicago has? I thought this only happened in places like Utah, Idaho and Wyoming where guns are easy to get. I don't understand.

  2.  @ronaldjinkins6183  So why does the Media continually refer to Highland Park as a suburb of Chicago? Aren't they important enough to be their own city? And all of that aside Illinois has had some of the strictest Gun Control Laws in the country for many years. Illinois did not even allow Concealed Carry until forced to by the Heller Decision. Illinois also requires a Firearms Owners Identification Card (FOID) and despite being a "Shall Issue State" your CCW can still be denied for no reason other than the Illinois State Police don't like you. Clean Criminal Record, doesn't matter. So yes Highland Park is not in Chicago, but has the basic same Gun Control.

  3.  @ronaldjinkins6183  Yes Ronnie the states you mentioned do have Strict Gun Control Laws and they also have the highest Crime Rates in the Nation. If it were the guns that caused the violence and crime, then the states with the most Pro Second Amendment Laws like Wyoming, Utah and Idaho would have the highest Violent Crime Rates, but guess what, They don't. In fact they have the lowest Crime Rates. Interesting part is that Illinois as well as the other states you mentioned all have one thing in common. They are all run by Democrats and have Liberal Policies. So step away from MSNBC for a minuet and see if you can understand that one.

  5.  @Humannondancer  And EXACTLY how should the Police Officers have known this after he had been SHOOTING AT THE POLICE with the gun that he had left in the car? And I'm sure that he had a SKI MASK on because it was cold that night------ Right?
