  1. Supporters of opposite parties often try to get weaker candidates on the ballot . Just look at the 2022 Utah Senate Race. In The GOP Primary Democrats supported Becky Edwards run against Mike Lee and over 90% of her donations were from Democrats. Strange in a GOP Primary, don't you think? Edwards lost by a HUGE margin. Then The Democrats didn't run a Candidate as a Democrat, but instead got a Life Long Democrat Evan McMullin to run as an "Independent", who was also beaten by a large margin. This is just one example of this type of activity.
