  2. OK was it fair when taxpayers in states like Utah, Idaho and Wyoming (which have NEVER been hit by a Hurricane or Tornado)have to bail out states like New York (Hurricane Ida comes to mind) when the taxpayers of New York will NEVER bail these states out for ANYTHING????

  4.  @froth7133  They chose to take on that debt though, didn't they. And before you tell me they didn't have a choice I will ask you this. How many have gone through higher education working the entire time and taking a semester off occasionally to work two jobs so they had the money they needed? Additionally how many have not gone after the degree or trade they wanted because they were responsible enough not to incur that debt? And finally what would you say to those who did, and then lived in a crappy apartment and drove a second hand car for four or five years after graduation so their debt was paid off? Life is choices and we have to live with the consequences of those choices.
