@Ibanezed210 Why should a Red State like Wyoming have to deal with this? Wyoming went 70% for Trump. By contrast Illinois went 60% (Cook County by the way went 75% for Biden) for Biden. Wyoming didn't put the guy in office who caused this, Illinois and specifically Cook County did, so they can accept with and deal with what they voted for.

@Ibanezed210 Except why should Red States who voted AGAINST THIS have to deal with what Blue States and Counties voted for? Those of us in Red States knew what Bidens policies would bring, so we didn't vote for him. Those of you in Blue States and Counties listened to what Biden said he would do and voted for him anyway. I know it's hard to admit that you were wrong, but like Obama said "Elections Have Consequences". Well this is the Consequences of what YOU voted for, so accept that for now and vote differently next year.

@lionelwilliams677 I don't think that The Federal Government asked or payed anyone to be a Sanctuary City. They did that all on their own.

@lionelwilliams677 And Chicago has been a Sanctuary City since 1985 when Herald Washington (D) was Mayor. It has never been a problem until Joe Biden got into office. So when the residents of Cook County voted for Joe Biden by a 3/1 ratio over Trump, knowing that Chicago was a Sanctuary City, they voted for the policies that Biden put into place in effect opening the Southern Border. I know it sucks for the guy you voted for to be the one that caused the mess that you are in, but those are the facts.

Sadly Cook County will likely go 75% for Biden in 2024 just like it did in 2020. And they will go on complaining.
