  7.  @Laxxe  I have at MANY times in my life worked TWO fulltime jobs. I have NEVER taken one dime of money that I didn't earn. So, if your argument is that everyone getting Welfare is working a full time job and just can't get by, you need to do a little research because that is not the case. And as far as minimum wage goes, I challenge you to find me ANYONE other than High School kids with a part time job who has been at that job for more than a year who is still making minimum wage. Employers just don't do that because you would not be able to keep any employs.

  19.  @Laxxe  The McDonalds that I pass every day has had a sign up for the last SIX MONTHS offering a starting wage of $17/hr. That is FAR above minimum wage. The fantasy that ADULTS are working at the same place for Years And Years at Minimum wage is just that---FANTASY.
