Employers EVERYWHERE are begging for employees. How is ANYONE unemployed at this time?

@Laxxe I have at MANY times in my life worked TWO fulltime jobs. I have NEVER taken one dime of money that I didn't earn. So, if your argument is that everyone getting Welfare is working a full time job and just can't get by, you need to do a little research because that is not the case. And as far as minimum wage goes, I challenge you to find me ANYONE other than High School kids with a part time job who has been at that job for more than a year who is still making minimum wage. Employers just don't do that because you would not be able to keep any employs.

@Laxxe The McDonalds that I pass every day has had a sign up for the last SIX MONTHS offering a starting wage of $17/hr. That is FAR above minimum wage. The fantasy that ADULTS are working at the same place for Years And Years at Minimum wage is just that---FANTASY.

@Laxxe People who are truly disabled, and I mean REALLY disabled such as quadriplegics have always been taken care of. Is it your argument that everyone on Welfare is physically unable to work? The VAST MAJORITY just don't want to work and are looking for an excuse not to.

@Laxxe I don't live in a wealthy area. The average household income in the area I live is $68,000/yr. That is NOT wealthy.

@Laxxe I'm sorry you live in such an impoverished area. The National Average is $70K/yr so it might be time for you to think about moving.
