  1.  @jacobcastro1885  I agree. The US Military did just fine for MANY conflicts with M1 Carbines (yes I know that theM2 existed) and the M1 Garand. Additionally the SKS soldiered on through MANY battles without a full-auto feature. In the type of situation Ian is discussing I believe semi-auto would be just fine.
