  1. The problem is what Romney said isn't honesty. Romney isn't running again because he knows that he would stand no chance whatsoever being reelected to the Senate from Utah. Senator Lee was just reelected from Utah by an overwhelming majority (despite The Democrats attempt to run Evan McMullen and call him a "Independent") and he is the 180 deg polar opposite of Romney. No, Romney can see the writing on the wall and would rather play the high ground with this claim than go down in an embarrassing defeat.
