Furthermore, the Daya Bay Nuclear Plant had a nuclear fallout in 2010, but hardly anyone from the CCP and the nearby Hong Kong Government, where the city is within 50 KM Southwest of the plant, both failed to adequately disclose the details and insisted that the facility was safe. The same Taishan Plant had similar leaks back in May, with the radiation level more than 3 times of the Fukushima nuclear plant disaster from a huge tsunami several years back. The problem with over 50 Million inhabitants within 200 KM radius, this potential danger would be much more catastrophic at the Greater Bay Area in Southern China. Given that there are 14 Nuclear Reactors in 4 existing plants, with 12 more reactors in 2 more plants still under construction. By 2024, a total of 26 Nuclear Reactors with 6 facilities will be in full operations. At this rate, any miniscule failure and the CCP's attempt to lower the safety standards and thresholds, plus raise the production capacity beyond what is actually safe, could be a monumental disaster in waiting. The question is with the current ignorant attitude and never admitted any wrong-doings by the CCP. How will they respond if this potential danger becomes an reality for the 21st Century Chernobyl?
