@russianbotfarm3036 No. This is the common lingo in Chinese. You will here it pretty much everywhere in the world where Chinese is spoken. It literally means, 'Close enough.' However, what you meant was correct. Some of the Chinese just doesn't care enough to even doing a decent job or giving an honest effort. So they do a half ass job and this is their way of saying, 'Here you go. That's good enough for me.' This type of behaviour is inherent in Chinese and that's why you will see lots of shoddy quality in their goods. They will sell it to you for cheap, but also they will cut a lot of corners to make sure that they profit. Sometimes to the detriment of their own customers. So things like poisonous or tainted foods, component failures that can take a plane, or malfunctioning cars, ships and everything else in between where is a safety hazards. Since they never have rules protecting the public and the Party are making them up as they please. They really don't care until a serious crisis happened, then they will all pointing the fingers or having a cover-up if that involved with their officials at fault. This is also one of the reason why China will have a difficult time getting ahead because their lack of clarity of laws and protections for their own people.
