Also, knocked off electronic gadgets could cause fire or other problems which probably costed a lot more potentially than saving a few dollars. Some of my friends living in the Mainland are so wary of the food, they would keep a close watch on the butcher just so that they wouldn't switch their cuts of meats with something else. No wonder they will have 'day-travelers' going to Hong Kong to get all of sundries, medicines and baby formulas at least 4 times a day and selling them back at the black markets at Shenzhen.
