That's just a trick. You have to understand how Winners/Homesense works. They get all their items from bankruptcy sales, which means pennies for dollars. Then they figured out a round-about retail prices for them and put them as their tags. Either way, they just wanted to make customers feeling like they are saving money but it is them who are ripping you off. It might not be as obvious for clothing. But in House Hardware, Bedding and so on at Homesense. Take a look at their dinnerware, sometimes they are selling as a single rather than a set. Because they bought it cheaply and can sell everything separately to deceive. Also for the food. It is obvious that quite a lot of their items, if you can look at them very carefully, are nearly close to expiring from their best before dates. Can you still find 'deals'? Sure, but you have to look very, very carefully. That's why their stocks are always different because bankruptcy wholesale products are never the same.
