  2. There was a saying that goes, "There are no such things as good or bad publicity." But there is a comfort zone or boundary for most public. Sometimes the ridicule that goes viral can do much worse than having no publicity at all. Speaking of the two kids, Salik from Cambodia and Fuman from the PRC. Their viral videos were different in terms of content. True, both shared their impoverished backgrounds of their livelihood. While most audiences saw the amazement of Salik's talent in foreign languages to communicate with tourists trying to upsell his mother's handcrafts as gifts, meanwhile the perception of the viewers were more of a pity to Fuman not even having basic warm clothing against the frigid winter cold at Yunnan. Those redness were frost bites. They can be extremely painful and the affected areas be permanently damaged if they are frozen. Hence our common receptions of compassions to help somehow diverged. While some kind-hearted people with deep pockets and good intentions would naturally trying to help Salik, if he turns out to be successful, then this feel-good story would probably worth more in marketing than the free tuition and board for this top private school in the PRC as well. On the other hand, most who helped Fuman and his family was more to do with a token one-time charity similar to those of the natural disaster appeal. Somehow, most never cared to look deep enough to Fuman's situation. Plus, the private school who rescinded their invite might have other factors beyond their control. Such as the CCP legislation which banning children from other prefectures attending schools outside of their borders. Also the money that was raised did not went to Fuman's family. This is why two years later, this poor boy is pictured with a severe frost bite on his nose. Therefore, it mattered more to those people who take actions to help and making sure those activisms lead to measurable and tangible results. Rather than just the casual interests for the sake of entertainment instead.

  3. Once again, this was the sad story of the dire consequences for the "One Child Policy" from 1978 to 2015. With many of the Chinese parents much favouring boys over girls as their one and only child, that meant disparity down the road and lack of suitable mates available for marriage. Particularly in the vast poor rural areas. Hence with desperation, many opted for the unspeakable alternatives: Using human trafficking to either paying kidnappers to snatch any young women available in the PRC, or mostly outside in even poorer countries throughout Southeast Asia in the peninsula regions, South Asian and even West Asian countries beyond Pakistan. Sometimes, similar to this story, they literally kidnap young girls to become their sex slaves. Then those abductors were effectively being pimps for selling their captures as prostitutes so they can make money in return. This is how sick the PRC society these days. When this story broke out, the CCP tries to cover it. Why? Similar to the "Shanghai Brothel" saga uncovered just a few months ago (sadly most of us already had forgotten by now), some of those 'regular johns' frequented were the high level CCP Officials. This story might possibly involved with similar CCP characters as well, albeit just in the lower levels. Therefore, we can safely determine that this is a systemic problem in the PRC. Rather than being open and transparent to reveal everything to the public, along with an expedient trial in court which disclosed further details so the victim could finally has her say and receiving her day of justice. In the PRC, it is always the other way around, the CCP propaganda tries to silent everyone. Shutting down anyone who would report the truth, uttering threats and intimidations so many would self-censor, or they too would be arrested and going to jail for the lamest excuse in this planet, called "Making a quarrel against the CCP". That's Rule By Law Dictatorship in the Communist Land of the CCP, where any arbitrary rules can be make without any need of consultations because there is simply none. As shocking as the "Shanghai Brothel" event was, where we didn't even hear any more followed-up months after. If we allow the CCP to censor, this poor woman will certainly not getting any justice either. Keep up the fight against the CCP and don't let her down. Already those voices fighting for her were quickly silent. Now, if we don't continue fighting against this evil regime, what would happen when they are coming for the rest of the world? All because we didn't care and let these PRC victims become silent forever? The choice is up to you. Are you going to be part of the solution? Or becoming a part of the problem?

  6. The problem always is that whomever the sport that President of Mainland will like would be the direction where the money was pouring into. In the time of Mao, it was table tennis. Then it was Basketball with Jiang. Now it is football with Xi. But there is always the problem with Mainland China. It is a state controlled funding from the young all to way getting the best to the Olympics. They were trained to be the athletes for the glory of the 'Strong Country'. Not only were they away from everyone including their own family, but they were tortured in the name of sacrifice. Moreover, once they are successful. The state kept a tab on their training and demanded that they fork a significant part of their cash winnings back to them. The problem is, once they outlive their usefulness for the Mainland's propaganda machine. They were cast away like trash without any safety net for the rest of their lives. Only the most successful with the big names could either stay behind and earn as coaches at the provincial and the national levels. Or lucky enough to leave and be the national coaches for foreign countries. Former Tennis star and World's top 10 player Li Na was criticized by the government for not giving the state's share of her winnings. Despite she was trained without their help. Therefore, state sponsorship for sports can be dried up without a moment's notice. About 20 years ago, China's Women Football team rivaled with the US as the best in the world. All of the sudden, they dropped out of nowhere. It was the same 30 years prior with their Women Ice Hockey team. Sure, they were nowhere against the powerhouses in the Canadians and the Americans ladies, but they held their own against other strong European countries such as Sweden and Finland. But just like Basketball, the funding dried up. It is well documented that a lot of Middle East business were using big European Football teams as a front for money laundering. The Chinese Corporations, mostly state sponsored or affiliated, are doing just the same in purchasing big name teams such as both AC and Inter Milan and splashing ludicrous contracts for players and managers for the Chinese Super League. Problem is, economy goes through the cycles of ups and downs. It is pretty easy to overspend and vaporized the league if they are all swimming in a deep sea of red ink. It was evident from the NASL failed experiment to the obvious talent gap in the hot beds of World Football both in Europe and South America. This might be the beginning but without a proper coaching and training system available to the Mainland Chinese children, how would they measured up against the best of Asia, which are Australia, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Iran at the moment? Let alone with the likes of the European and the South American powerhouses? The only reason why China qualified for the 2002 World Cup were solely because South Korea and Japan were the co-hosts of the tournament, and 2 spots were freed up. Currently, they would needed a miracle to even qualify to the third place playoffs in their Hex group because they were so far behind the standings. With only a significant 1-0 victory over South Korea as a decent result. They drew 0-0 in both tides in the earlier round against a much weaker opponent in Hong Kong and just barely got through in the last game. Also the Chinese Super League is popular due to the government and the corporations throwing money to have token media headlines. The quality of the product is still far from the other established leagues in South Korea, Japan and even Australia. Given how stars like Demba Ba was almost crippled from lousy tackles by those Mainland players who shouldn't even be playing the game. It gave the stark reminder to the current big stars of whether they would like to gamble their playing career or accepting instant big paycheques.

  12. Many of them are inhabitable for a reason because they are undeveloped and far away. There are some bigger islands such as Lamma Island, Cheung Chau and some smaller ones where people lives. But most of them do not have public roads for cars and ferries are the only way for transport. There are future projects to further developing Lantau Island after the CLK Hong Kong International Airport and Hong Kong Disneyland project at Sunny Bay. However, the terrain over there are pretty unsuitable for development. Furthermore, the land in Hong Kong is controlled by the government. Through collusion with the major developers, only a very small proportion of their land holdings are being sold at astronomical prices. Which then, the developers passed onto the individual buyers for further profits. This is the major revenue for the government to keep their tax rate low. As you can see the consequences on the sizes of the flats getting smaller to discourage family planning from the rising costs. In addition to median income unchanged since 2000 and cost of living went up more than 250% since that time. In addition, there is no rent controls for any residential and commercial spaces. When you put all of those factors together. The gap between the wealthy and the poor has been widened with the middle class virtually being non-existent. At this rate, with the lack of social programs and deteriorating social standards all around Hong Kong. It is heading for the complete collapse of epic proportion when the intrinsic value is far outstripped by the materialism from this extremely inflated housing bubble being played by this system ever since the 1970s. However, it has been getting out of control since the Handover. For your information, there was no new public housing development since 1998. Also there are 5 million illegal immigrants not classified in Hong Kong to exacerbate the housing crisis further. Hong Kong is at a boiling point and breaking at the seams. Beijing does not have a clue of what to do other than eradicating anyone not buying to their plans of "One Belt, One Road" system.

  14. Excellent points. Also another tell-tale sign with the inefficiency of the PRC agriculture also have two specific reasons which was covered by Sino-Insider from Taiwan. From Lei's earlier explanation of the land being owned by the State and the farmers in the rural areas are effectively workers rather than landowners to limit any incentives to grow and expand their farms. With lack of growth in terms of financial means. Compared to the US, Europe and other Democratic nations where farmer actually owns the land. This meant: 1. Lack of capital to acquire modern farming equipment to make the agriculture easier and with bigger volumes from more land available. Western farming generally have tens and hundreds of acres to grow their crops at industrial scale. This is another reason why the PRC farming is extremely inefficient. Besides that, many of the best agricultural lands near the urban areas had been gutted for industrial and residential expansion since the globalization of 1980s. Therefore this led direct to: 2. The quality of the best lands had been significantly decreased. According to Sino-Insider's report, the decrease of the overall quantity of land available for agriculture in the PRC was not as significant as predicted. However, when the best lands for farming were converted to industrial and residential purposes in nearby urban areas. Most of the rural areas were left to grow food. However, most of those farmlands are of low-yield quality. Therefore, not surprisingly, their yield are also very average to poor as a result. Hence, this led to the use of the poisonous chemicals to boost the yield quality artificially. Since the Rule of Law Dictatorship system for the CCP never accounts for the responsibility and accountability for the farmers to be clear and transparent of not using harmful chemicals to grow their food. Also with hardly any monitoring from their department responsible for food safety. Many of these inferior and poisonous food are feeding the PRC public. Therefore, individual farmers and Pro-CCP food production companies alike are using short-cuts to grow their food and livestock. The tainted infant formula scandal by Sanlu, a CCP-sponsored dairy company , along with many other poisonous foods leading the permanent health problems and even death to some of the consumers. These are the consequences of the CCP's awful decisions with their inefficiency plus lack of good quality lands for agriculture. Plus their Rule by Law system lacking any consumer protections and other features for public safety when it comes to quality standards of the PRC's food production. This problem would never go away and only gets worse in the near future.

  16. It 'used' to be one of the best in the world. But not anymore. Overcrowding on the trains during the rush hours. Capacity is beyond the breaking points, well exceeding the 102 to 110% threshold. Maintenance issues with both the aging trains and the infrastructures (daily from 1am to 5 am) was a growing issues with the passengers daily. Also, the problems with both the 'Hong Kong - Canton Express Rail' and the upcoming 'Shatin - Central' line are mired with construction problems, inferior concrete that has serious moisture seepage. Rails for the Express Rails were buckled, problems persisted with the inferior Kobe Steel on the train cars. Over the new Shatin line. The construction problems with both the To Kwa Wan and the new platform at the Hung Hom stations had the metal steel rods purposely shortened, so the connecting bolts cannot be fastened to the rods to distribute the massive weight. Close to 20% of the rods were not even fastened this way. The completed platform could be collapse at any moment. Yet the contractor of the MTR, Leighton, who is the subsidiary of the construction firm UGL. The same firm which the previous Chief Executive, CY Leung (689), was accused of taking a $50M HKD bribe to be granted as the sole contractor. Moreover, the wholesale change to the Mainland made railway cars for most of their existing lines in the near future were also met with extreme skepticism. Simply because it is the same model where both Taiwan Subway and the Singapore MRT had the same issues barely 5 years into the service. They included: 1. Exploding batteries from being welded in an unsafe location. 2. Loose fitting of the interiors, such as windows, handrails and so on that would be more than just a safety hazard for the passenger. 3. Interior fracturing of the rail cars had happened. 4. Faulty signals of the mechanical of the train kept happening. As for the Singapore MRT, 26 of the 35 ordered had already gone back to the Mainland for various 'refurbishing' and compulsory updates. That was 2016. They still had yet to hear from them about the upgraded cars coming back to the service. The bill for the Singapore MRT for their 2010 order was about $350M SGD. The order for HK MTR for the same, problematic model was for $6B HKD ($1.045B SGD). Those cars will go to the Kwun Tong, Island, Tsuen Wan, and Tseung Kwan O Lines, which accounts for at least 70 to 80 percent of the passenger load. Just imagine the ticking time bombs coming down the road .......

  17. What a stupid speech. No, it wasn't! The natives lived in the land long before the White settlers who claimed it as their own. So all the slavery of the Blacks, the racists action toward the Irish, the Italians, and later the Asian minorities, now turning their attentions on all Muslims. So these dumb stumps think that they are being marginalized because they are feeling entitled, without adapting to change for the better. So they are blaming others for their own short-comings. They failed to educate, failed to be empathetic, failed to understand the concept of equality, failed to acknowledge racial harmony, various religion beliefs other than their own, and generally, failed all across the board. When was America ever great? Could they even gave anyone who is educated any viable reasons? They just don't and they could careless of giving any reasonable answers that make sense. I get it, racism always exists. With the political correctness period, it was just slowly simmering under the surface until Trump blew the lid open with referring to the economic crisis, which was made more than 60 years ago with the military overspending in global interference warfare. So the fact Trump just brought it up conveniently today was the failure of the governments, both the Democrats and the Republicans party, to ignore the cause and let them fester to the cancer they have today. Yes, reform for this inept government is truly needed, but they needed to be addressed to the main causes, and not the side issues to ensure the government is acting the interests of all public citizens, rather than the status quo of the companies and the elites.

  18. Yeah, Hong Kong's real estate was never cheap to begin with. The prices now are skyrocketed. Let me put it this way, a typical 800 square feet flat (3 bedrooms) was about $600K HKD in the early 1980s. Prices more than doubled or tripled every 10 years or so. But for a brand new flat, the average price is now $40K HKD per square feet. So do the math. That would be $32 Million HKD for the flat. The price around 1997, let's low balled it to $2.4 Million, will now get you a mosquito flat of less than 200 square feet. Seriously, a person with an average monthly income of $50K HKD per month (I will call it a fair median wage), would be able to pay off that mosquito flat in 4 years. Provided that he or she doesn't eat, spending a cent on clothing, public transportation, using any utilities and so on. Now, how realistic is that? I am not blaming everything on the Mainland. However, they were the ones putting an incompetent government. Destroying the former efficient and effective British based system into the bureaucratic Beijing style, which there is absolutely lacking of any responsibilities and accountability to the people of Hong Kong. If you are close to those corrupted officials, rich and powerful enough with connections. Or you are a well heeled ex-pat at the top level with generous benefits and allowances, then you will have nothing to worry about. But to those outside the 'circle', then everyday is a survival. The old age pension for the poor has not changed. It is still $1,200 HKD per month. How do you think that would be enough to live on? When a cheap meal cost $40 at the minimum, or a basket of dim sum is already at $50? Hong Kong has been in a decline since the Handover. If wages remained unchanged and the cost of living is up by 250%. Who would lose out? That's right, those who are too weak and too poor to defending themselves. Anyone who has a right blend of heart and morals would not sit idly by and let those bullies picking on them. And we all know about the troublemakers who are the cause of the problem.
    7
  19. It is pretty simple. Hong Kong as an International city has been tarnished long since the Handover. Remember, prior to the Takeover, the top 10 companies invested in Hong Kong are mostly Western countries. Now, 8 out of the top 10 companies invested in Hong Kong are from the Mainland. The uncertainty of Hong Kong's future. As well as Beijing's meddling of civil liberty, press freedom and other democratic stumping are the main reasons of Western foreign capital retreating from Hong Kong. Free market operations hate uncertainty, lack of visibility and unstable forecasts. That's why many large Western based investment banks have been scaling back, moving to other Asian cities such as Singapore and Tokyo. Likewise, more and more ex-pats are moving away, small scales layoffs are occurring more frequently, or they simply moving from Central to Quarry Bay for cost reduction measures, such as Citibank and HSBC to Olympic City in Kowloon. This just means Mainland banks will move into these prime real estate spaces like the IFC to fill in the void. In addition, Mainlanders were about to persuade their own best to coming to Hong Kong. Even though they are paid a bit less than the Western counterparts. However, Hong Kong's salary is at least 15% less than Mainland with high level incomes. In addition, a lot of perks packages from the Western based Investment Banks had been reduced severely. You can just compare the evening skylines. Prior to the Handover, there were English, Japanese and Chinese neon lights were always in Traditional Letters. Now, they are only in the asinine Simplified Chinese. True, the average income per capita in Hong Kong is still high. However, it is skewed with the most expensive living costs. In addition, the 'median' income of Hong Kong has stayed the same since 2001. Which means that the upper middle class and the wealthy get much richer since then, while the middle class struggled and those in the poverty are fighting for their survival. Now, is that progress for Hong Kong? That depends on whom you are asking. Don't take the figures as they are. There are a lot more than meets the eye .....

  21. By the way, as a born and raised Hong Konger. I have to get the record straight. Please DO NOT mixed Football from the ROC in the early 20th Century with Hong Kong at the same time. Since Hong Kong was a colonial city of the UK, the city was never granted a FIFA membership until 1954. The establishment of Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) in 1914 was the very first organization of this very sport in Asia. In fact, the oldest Hong Kong club team which still exists today and competes in the Hong Kong Premier League, Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC), in 1886, which rivalled many of the most established clubs in Europe and around the world. The formation of the South China Athletics Association (SCAA) as the second athletic club for Chinese in the segregated colonial Hong Kong in 1904, was added with football in 1910. The Chinese legend who Lei was mentioned. Star forward Lee Wai Tong, who was named as one of the best FIFA players in the 20th Century along with the legend Pele from Brazil, was born, raised and died in Hong Kong. As the biggest football star for the powerhouse South China with exhibitions all over the world, especially in East Asia. He raised the profile of the game. Yes, he played matches in the ROC and even to raise charities for the ROC during the WWII. However, Lee was always remembered as the 'Best of East Asia and Hong Kong'. Lee's nickname was "The Treasure of Hong Kong". This was well-known with all sports historians and football enthusiasts alike. So please, do not ever link the great Mr. Lee with either the ROC, CCP or even the PRC in this conversation. Many of the best football stars in the top Hong Kong First Division before Hong Kong was granted the FIFA membership and thus was allowed to compete under its flag, was the 1974 Asian Qualifications for the tournament in West Germany. In between, all of them chose to compete as the "ROC Team" for Taiwan. They qualified for the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, plus won numerous times at the Merdeka Tournament in Malaysia and was called the 'Best of East Asia' prior to the improvements with Australia, Japan and South Korea as the powerhouse in the Australasia region. Despite of their heroics, many of these retired Hong Kong Football Legends were denied of receiving their just ROC citizenship and passport despite decades of pleading. Taipei only relented as late as 2009 when many those players already had passed away. It was the same with the KMT soldiers and their families left stranded in Hong Kong as they could not followed their troops over to Taiwan. There were a lot of indignities from many of these Hong Kong Football Legends that I had to clear up. Despite relegated to being a minnow status, Hong Kong National team still surprised many. They won the Mens' Football Gold in the 2009 East Asian Game at home with the Penalty Shootout victory over the Under-23 Japanese National Team. As well with the famous '519' incident which Hong Kong upset the heavily favoured PRC National team 2-1 on May 19th, 1985, at the Beijing Workers National Stadium. This result clinched Hong Kong as the group winners in the Asian stage and subsequently lost in the semi-final round against Japan. The shame was too much for the PRC Mainlanders to bear and a riot started from the stadium shortly after the match and went on in Beijing that evening. Their national coach, who is still alive today, is hiding in low profile to shelter from the shame uttered by his countrymen, in a pivotal match more than 37 years ago. At the FIFA 2018 Russia Asian Football Conference (AFC) qualifying round. Hong Kong and the PRC met once again in the group stage, where Hong Kong National Team despite the bullying campaign from the propaganda Beijing of being 'an immigrant team' filled with other nationalities playing for Hong Kong despite lawfully gaining their HKSAR citizenship after 7 years of residence, held 0-0 scores both at home in Hong Kong and on the road in the PRC on November 2015. This was also a major stain on Xi Jinping of promoting the sport and kept honest by a team who has 0.5 percent population of the entire PRC. I would like Lei to honestly making alternative statements to clarify these facts and not misleading Hong Kong Football with those in the ROC and let alone in the PRC. At the very least, Mr. Lee Wai Tong's family in Hong Kong, who supported the ROC and the KMT, would never wanted to soil their name with the asinine behaviour and the ideologies of the CCP. Thank You. Sincerely, Canice Tang Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

  25. So asshole. I am a Canadian as well. I do know what I am talking about. The difference is that being an ex-pat living in Hong Kong, most do not even bothered to learn how to speak and write Cantonese. Therefore they are pretty much insulated from the situation where most common Hong Kongers experienced. I for one, worked for a Zurich-New York based investment bank in the Hong Kong Head Office, so I had frequent contact with ex-pats who are not only Caucasians, but ex-pats like myself who could speak fluent Cantonese and English from North America, Europe and Australia along with the local Hong Kongers and Mainlanders alike. Therefore many of those 'European' based ex-pats work for mainly their own companies in their Hong Kong office. Typically, that's the gateway to Asia until the recent expansion of the Mainland. In addition, foreign or English speaking based media are having great difficulties in interviewing Hong Kong government officials. There are several reasons for that. First, their English levels are atrocious. Secondly, since most of them are Beijing Lapdogs, so they could careless speaking English to an international audience. Most of them would needed translations from the Chinese speaking journalist to get a soundbite. The current Chief Executive who reigns ending at the end of this month. This garbage piece of shit called Leung Chun Ying, actually refused interviews with any Western Media in his entire tenure. Most ex-pats rarely ventured out of their own safe zones or bubbles as I called them. Guys like @saiber.saiber, even though living in Hong Kong for 20 years as he/she claimed. Probably didn't even realized the closing of the English publications in terms of journals and magazines. I bet he didn't even know that the South China Morning Post was bought last year by Jack Ma. Yes, that Mainland billionaire famous for selling counterfeit goods on Alibaba and Taobao. Probably some of them think that China Daily are just as credible as Wall Street Journal without doing any investigations and thinking. What the problem in Hong Kong was that when the economy and their own distinct culture was booming in the 1980s and the 1990s, Hong Kongers were too busy trying to be rich and being apathetic to the democratic system. True, Hong Kong was a British Colony. However, under the guidance of various great leaders. There were establishment and great foundations of a stable government who truly did their best for the people of Hong Kong in many areas, which precisely became the reasons since the end of World War II, Hong Kong quickly developed from light industries such as textiles, toys, sundries and others into real estates and financial services. Also the public housing as a starting point and allowed those who could not afford more expensive private housing to build themselves so that they can be financially viable in the future. I know what democracy is because I have experienced it most of my life. To call me a Konger and telling bullshit that Hong Kong should never be trusted with democracy is about as fucked as your asinine brain! So please, get some education before commenting. And perhaps live there for a while, look at the whole picture in itself. It is easy to hob-nob with your own circle of people. If you look at other media reports such as Hong Kong Free Press or other unbiased report from Reuters, BBC and so on, which painted the pictures much differently from the Pro-Beijing garbage, and there are a lot of crap. Then you can see why there are people protesting for a simple thing such as "Universal Suffrage."

  28. Very insightful and as a former financial analyst yourself, you hit it right on the nose. How can these global reputable financial and consulting firms be this misguided when it comes with any information coming out of the PRC? Particularly when Bloomberg machines and even other well established global financial journals are not even allowed? It is quite obvious to everyone that just like many other foreign firms. They too wanted that incredible potential of the lucrative 1.4 Billion customer market of the PRC. However, have they done any homework or due diligence when it comes to doing all those checks regarding to the pitfalls of Beijing. Morgan and McKinsey are known for their own research when it comes to their strategic analysis and decisions. So how could they got so wrong? Quite simply, it is the same as the Thousand Talent Search Overseas by the PRC that they had selected these companies to bribe them with favourable conditions that they can say no to. But they never realized the pitfalls of dealing with the CCP itself. They got themselves in too deep with their cooperation with their financial windfalls. Along the line, they failed to realize how much of a fool they were as being fattened as pigs to the slaughter house later. The more we know about the CCP, with acknowledgement, awareness and actions against them. The better we can prepare for their evil intentions to avoid and overcome their temptations. Therefore we can once again preserve Our Planet and Humanity before both are violently taken away by Chairman Xi and their henchmen.

  37. @saiber.saiber I was born in Hong Kong and still lived there when you '"first" came there. If those Western Banks wanted to move to Shanghai, then good for them. Hong Kong was growing prior to the takeover mainly due to the fact that the instability of the Japanese Occupations prior to WWII and Mao's closure of the country itself since 1949. Simply put, I bet you didn't bothered to study the complete history of Maoism since the very beginning. What you see today of a modern industrialized China was simply Deng's gesture to open up the economy. With 1.4 Billion, of course, it is easy to scale up the production and finding workers making products for cheaper prices. However, according to the recent report from the World Bank. China just moved from the ranks of 'absolute poverty' to 'abject poverty' in terms of average worker's wage. Which merely meant the absolute poor got a few dollars more in salary per day. With the current problem of inflation of prices and the government's refusal of de-pegging the Yuan from the US Dollars, this problem will harm those struggling from the bottom. In addition, most Financial Analysts worth their salt would not trust any economic numbers coming from their own Propaganda departments. There is a great reason of them to fabricate numbers to fooling Western country to invest. They have an extremely high debts from their infrastructures such as the empty cities projects as well as their transportation systems, energy plants and so on. When they put labourers to build those projects, it seemed the economy was fully employed. However, when an unfinished flat cost 80 years plus of an average factory worker. All of them can sit empty even when the prices goes to $0. Furthermore, with the rise of labour costs and the Western pressures of fair treatment of workers. Many of the factories now are being transferred to countries like Vietnam for lower costs. This in turn, along with the dirty laundry money made from the government officials and their affiliates, are being sent overseas and inflating housing prices in Hong Kong, Vancouver, Toronto and beyond. Companies having heavy ties with the government, are also investing in ventures like European Football and the Chinese Super League. Beijing knew of this problem long ago and their last ditch effort to correct it was the Chairman Xi's pet project called "One Belt, One Road". Their aim is to invest in mega projects from Energy pipelines, High Speed Rail and other expensive ventures so China can dominate in its position as the leader of the Global Superpower. However, most of the countries involved in the project are financially poor. Therefore, China tried to loan them the upstart money just to sweeten the deal. But what those countries failed to realize was that China stands to gain everything in the end. First, Chinese workers will be there to build the project. Then inevitably, there will be delays on purpose as well as the inferior materials being use to skim the expenses and safety. Finally, the countries would be on the hook for paying way more than what they are bargaining for. To China, it is simply nothing more than money laundering at a grand scale. Countries such as Vietnam, Myanmar and Singapore already got a taste of doing business with Mainland. You are pretty naive for ignoring all the warning signs. I am not sure when the current Chinese Communist Party will collapse. But I will assure you that it will happen soon enough. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

  40.  @simonball6560  A lot of people just measured the greatest racers by the number of wins, poles and the fastest laps and with the world championships for good measures. Fair enough, if you are counting that by statistics. However, anyone who watches Formula 1 for decades and perhaps being a historian. Sometimes, it is difficult to get the best car to have the best result. Therefore, if you want to consider to be the best of the best. Then beating your own teammate(s) who are also World Champion in their career would be the best measuring stick. There are in the history of Formula 1. Only two drivers have an absolutely outstanding results: 1. Alain Prost. In his career, he had World Champion teammate in 7 Seasons. In total 5 World Champions in Lauda, Keke, Senna, Mansell and Damon winning a combined 9 Crowns. His record was 5-2. He also competed against the best in the 80s and 90s, such as Gilles, Piquet, and Jones. All of them at their prime. Not an easy feat. 2. Lewis Hamilton. He beat Alonso in his rookie year and just losing to Kimi by a single point. He competed against 3 World Champions in Alonso, Jenson and Nico (winning a combined 4 Championships). His record is 6-2. Although his opponents are not quite as accomplished in reputation as Prost. Still, it is an excellent record. Hopefully, I will love to see a Seb vs Lewis in the same team and see who can come out on top. That in itself will prove the fans once and for all, who is better. That being said, Lewis keeps surprising everyone by driving better every year. He definitely is the best overall in terms of fitness, bravery, tenacity, race craft, and most of all, the best racing mind right now. It is still too early to say whether after this year (hoping that he will wrap up in Austin this weekend) of if he will be able to break Michael's records in wins or in championship. But it will be likely that we will see someone winning 100 or more races (much easier to do it with the current 20 plus race season) and more than 7 championships. The scary thing is that with Lewis' own hunger. We might not know if he is still at his peak yet. That would be extremely worrying to those young lions coming up in Max and Charles.

  42.  Roy Taylor  Victor Gao is a moron. Just because he graduated from an Ivy League school. That doesn't mean anything. As a professor, he should know how to be humble. The more you learn, the more you realized that you know a know a lot less. Gao's behaviour was appalling. There is a Chinese saying when you are a learned person. You should preach only two parts at most, while letting those of the inferiors for the rest of the eight portions. He exhibited the typical threatening manner just like the juvenile bullying tactics of the CCP. There is no respect on the show with his fellow guest and the BBC host. It is truly embarrassing that Beijing tried to pulling lies and exemplify themselves as the descendent of the fine Chinese Traditional Culture and Civilization, what a freaking joke that is! In fact, it is the CCP that practically destroyed any traces of Chinese Culture and Heritage with the Cultural Revolution from 1966 to 1976 at the Mao's reign. Both Macau and Hong Kong had riots in 1966 and 1967 thanks to him and his ultra revolutionary guards trying to overthrow both colonial governments. Had the three great sages of Confucius, Mencius and Xunzi are still alive today to look at today's PRC. They would be rolling in their graves. Simply put, how can anyone respect a blood thirsty regime that killed more than 600 Million of their own people during just over 70 years of their terror reign? More than 500 Million were unborn babies from the "One Child Policy"? By the way, "Unabomber" was a Mathematics professor at Harvard. Enron CEO Jeff Skilling had an MBA there as well. Are both good people? Come on now!

  44. Another excellent video. May I emphasized in this episode from Winston, at the 7:48 Mark. How those poor brainwashed students were forced to marched out to the outdoor fields of the school. All in unison, grabbed their textbooks out at a certain page and reading it out loud? That's completely INSANE!! Also to those who don't speak and read Chinese. At the 7:52 Mark of this video. The huge red banner behind the students in the classroom reads, "One Step, two steps, three steps, (we) progress with every step. One day, two days, three days, (we) look upwards everyday." At first thought, that's pretty encouraging and motivational right? What the hell was wrong with that image? Until you read the blackboard writings read in big letters "During the periods of battles, forever having a heartfelt mind for the long term. Fight with all your might (in your very best) conditions, to achieve (the best results) for yourself." In other words, everyone is an enemy even in your own classmates and friends. Strive to beat them all in your own inner battles of struggles. Isn't that the mantra of the CCP with their in-fighting among their rival factions? All scaled-down to a school and classroom settings? You see these notices everywhere in the PRC. Therefore, there is you against everyone. You will see no co-operations or any cohesions whatsoever! If the PRC team can't even exist well in a team environment being ingrained with extreme individualism, then now you can understand why hardly anyone cares when someone on the road got hit by a car, and no one cared to look after the victims. This is a systemic problem with the CCP. I really hope that everyone can somehow get passed through the basics and truly comprehend just how serious the issue is.

  58. Here is something that this Al Jazeera journalist completely missed: 1. CCP assumes themselves as the real Chinese Culture and Civilization, which is completely laughable considering CCP's basic foundations are strictly based on the Classic Marxist - Leninist ideology. Since Communism was an Western invention, then how on Earth can anyone expects that a foreign country political belief which was invented in 1919, be exactly ideal as the 5,000 years of Chinese Culture and Civilization itself? Besides, Mao burnt books and destroyed all traces of Chinese classical culture, monuments, treasured buildings and temples. Mao also introduced Simplified Chinese and spoken Putonghua as compared to the official Traditional Chinese and standard Mandarin (Court Official Language) as official written and spoken language for the PRC. 2. Imperial Chinese during the Xing Dynasty was completely behind in the progress of Western Colonial Empires with their inventions and adaptations of the Industrial Revolution. They were already more than 400 years behind from the 1440 Gutenberg Press invented, thus spreading education more for the masses and became gradually more affordable. The late Xing Dynasty was extremely corrupted and their asinine public officials were abusing their own citizens. Most were impoverished and trying to survive by all means. Yes, they were uncivilized at that moment when the Westerner first came visiting them during the time. In addition, their severe addiction to the more potent opium grown by the Honourable East India Company (HEIC) was the background of Imperial Official Lin Tze-tsu ordered burning of over 1,150 Metric Ton of HEIC Opium. This led to the first of the two Opium War which the British annihilated the Chinese Imperial Army due to unmatched superior technological and military prowess. But also the British Army discovered millions of opium pipes being strewn by the Imperial Chinese Soldiers all the way from Canton to Imperial Capital of Shenyang. Now, was is cruel and hurtful that those unsavoury descriptions of the Chinese at the late Xing Dynasty as "The Sick Men of East Asia"? Definitely Yes! But it was extremely factual and truthful. Also since the 1840s after Imperial China's colossal loss from the First Opium War, all the way up to the post 1911 Dr. Sun's successful overthrow of the Xing Dynasty and transformed to the Republic of China (ROC) under his Kuomintang (KMT). Only for Mao's Chinese Party of Communists (CPC) formed in 1921 and immediately attempted to unstable the KMT by waging the First Chinese Civil War. This was interrupted by the Manchuria Invasion and the subsequent Imperial Army of Japan attacking ROC during the Second World War. During this time, the CPC went hiding and watched their brothers and sisters being brutally murdered by the Rising Sun without blinking an eye to care. They got their wish when the KMT who was decimated by the Japanese Army, plus their own corrupted senior officials defected to the CPC. This played positively to the rested CPC Army. They were able to get the upper hand and drove the KMT to Taiwan. With their victory, the CPC declared that the Chinese's own "Century of Shame" was over due to them being victorious and claiming their new country as the People's Republic of China (PRC). Of course, this was complete false on all fronts. Only the perpetual brainwashed lie by the CCP was able to cement this twisted beliefs as truth. Not only the PRC residents were being misled, so were the Western Scholars bringing back those false beliefs to their tenured schools around the world. 3. The complete miscalculation of the US by then President Nixon. He was advised by Dr. Henry Kissinger on Foreign Affairs. Nixon had no idea that Dr. Kissinger was largely a sympathizer to the CCP. Kissinger himself was mentored by Dr. Paul Lin, a Canadian born with Malaysian background professor who was influenced by the senior levels of the CCP through the United Front Work Department - a secret foreign agent network to instigate worldwide. The "Ping-Pong" Diplomacy was invented by Kissinger to help the PRC with Mao through diplomacy and later with economic trades by soft power, while fighting the Soviets with their usual hardline combats to avoid fighting a Two Communist Empire front. We saw the fall of the Soviets in 1991, but the Globalization of the PRC, led by the US and other Western Democracies, greatly transformed the PRC from agrarian to industrialized society. However, the continuation of the "Ping-Pong Diplomacy" was the naivety of Washington to trust Beijing that modernization of the PRC economics, would promote capitalism for the PRC residents to slowly embrace the idea of Democracy as well. Beijing of course made false promise of that, Then they used the improved society with industrialization as the bait to submit to the CCP as the ultimate political and all aspects of decision making. The desperate measures of greed and the potential of the over 1 Billion market of the PRC, was and is the lure that most foreign companies would do anything to get into the PRC market for the lucrative investment there. The problem is, these types of arranging deals often required the compulsory relationship "guanxi" by the CCP being the lynchpin. Since they make all the rules in their Rule by Law System, they must adhered to all their regulations, including paying the demanding bribes and corruption to grease the Beijing Machine. For those companies, as long as they can make their profits, they would literally closing their eyes on CCP's Human Rights Abuses Records, heinous crimes and other crimes against humanity. All for the temptations to get a lion share of the PRC Jackpot.

  64.  @ngawangyoga9258  Cyrus should be careful here in Canada. He is already investigated by the Canadian courts for illegally filming the Meng Wanzhou's trial inside the BC Court of Appeal in Vancouver where it was used by the CCP Propaganda news in the 'Global Times'. Please watch this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5e7LuzeUCc Also with the South China Morning Post of this news which wasn't even covered by the Canadian media. https://www.scmp.com/news/china/society/article/3107883/canada-court-investigates-pro-china-youtubers-video-about-meng Also near the end of the video, he gave thanks to TRU's Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA). The CSSA is directly tied to the funding from the PRC Consulates in Canada, where those members (who are Chinese Overseas Students) were constantly being monitored. They are not allowed to deviate from anything away from the CCP authority. For example, they were told to distance from any cultural exchanges with other students, keeping themselves isolated and having other students reporting each other if they suspected anything wrong. The RCMP have been tracking them down and I have personally witnessed an event where everyone was filmed and monitored. This was extremely uncomfortable and there were students who are also CCP members to reinforce the rules. Cyrus of course have personal and financial reasons of spewing these verbal diarrheas and trying to use all those big words to spread these propaganda. Besides, I doubted that he had ever been to the impoverished rural areas to see the disparities between the party members and the wealthy with 'guanxi', and those exploited masses struggling to make a living. There are so many holes in this speech where I can easily shredding his charades. Of course, the CCP loves to use foreigners to say nice things to misconstrued that 'all' foreigners love the PRC. What a load of crock that is. Just like Nathan Rich, Daniel Dumbrill and other trolls around.

  72. Once again, there is nothing wrong with the Qipao. The Zhongshan coat that you wore, however, had my mind turned right at the Mao's murderous era since the 1950s. Thank goodness that you were in Shenzhen and not in Hong Kong, Taipei or even any Chinatown around the world where the Nationalists' buildings are close by. Of course, those Mainlanders are not going to say anything to you other than praises for your coat. Why would they not be? Simple, they couldn't speak out against CCP for fear that they would be taken away. Also, they wouldn't know any better because Chairman Mao was beloved, especially when all those propaganda crap about the glorification of the Party as the Nation. All you have to do is to ask them the significance of June 4th, 1989 and you will have blank stares all over their faces. Once again, there are lots of Chinese around the world in particular to the ethnic origins will tell you where their ideologies belonged to. Genocides and massacres have no places to celebrate, only to learn and never repeat any such tragedies, ever! If you already know that wearing a Nazi Uniform is bad, then just imagined doing the same only with close to 8 and a half times more killing to your own people! Perhaps if you really want to know the history about post 1950 Mainland China, there are plenty of bookstores in Hong Kong documenting the brutally of Mao's regime, as well as a ton of banned films that was on par and even worse than the World War I and II films. By the way, do you know that the Gaungxi's Yulin Dog Meat Festival, which I believe is coming up soon, had its origins from the Cultural Revolution where cannibalism of educators by the Young Red Guards to show their ultimate loyalty to Mao? Ironically, in your previous videos, you had accurately explained why quite a few Mainlanders were unruly, uncivilized and acting in such poor manners that stemmed from the Mao's periods. Actually, some of those traits had gone much, much further than that in the early history of Chinese Imperial Dynasties. To be quite honest with you, I was a Hong Konger born and raised in the Colonial British Period, a lot of uncivilized Chinese behaviour were painstakingly corrected and enforced by the Hong Kong Government during the early 1960s to the 1980s. It did not happened overnight. That's why when you and C-Milk visited Hong Kong from Shenzhen. Sometimes you are looking at different world at times. I am not saying that China is shit and being biased for democracy. However, I value personal freedom, freedom of speech and press, civility and human decencies which needs to be demonstrated at each other.

  75.  @hanslu9706  Another pathetic brainwashed responses by a typical Tankie and Ermao. Have you ever TAKING A MOMENT to seriously re-read the verbal diarrhea you hastily typed, and see if that really making ANY COMMON SENSE AT ALL???? 'Rule of Law Democracy' is based on the tripods of Personal Freedom, Freedom of the Press and the Independent Judiciary. All of which are legally protected by the legislation. However, none of these were ever recognized by ANY 'Rule by Law Autocracy'. Not that you brainwashed minions ever cared, but there are world recognized measures for all three aspects. Ever realized why the PRC is ranked 177th out of 180th in terms of 2021 Global Press Freedom, sandwiched between Djibouti and Turkmenistan? 158th out of 177th with the 2022 World Economic Freedom Index, in the 'Repressed' category between powerful nations like Lesotho and Liberia? To top it all off, 2021 Global Rule of Law Index put the PRC with their "Belt and Road Partners" in Belarus and Kyrgyz Republic in 98th from 139 countries? For a comparison, I would include one Asian Democracy and Communist country to compare. South Korea was ranked 42nd, 19th, and 20th respectively, near the highest ranking Asian peers. Vietnam, which is fully Communist, still ranked ahead of the PRC in 175th, 84th, and 88th respectively. Your PRC Foreign Ministry excuses of "Foreigners meddling in PRC's domestic matters" were just laughable. As if the PRC never did the same to others as well, like blaming the Gun and Black racial problems in the US, migrant issues in Europe, and Indigenous Residential Issues, plus perceived Asian Hate problems elsewhere due to the CCP Virus. If the CCP never 'acknowledge' these problems, then how on Earth can they 'aware' they exist, and coming up with positive and constructive 'actions' to resolve? Therefore since 1921, the CCP only keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. Each time with even more devastating consequences as a result. Just like digging deeper holes everywhere to patch up the original existing one.

  79. In addition to this video, I would like to add the following facts which supported the sentiment and also contributed to the reasons why the PRC qualified for their one and only World Cup in 2002. 1. FIFA artificially helped the PRC National Men's Football team in the World Cup 2002 Tournament because it was co-hosted by South Korea and Japan. Therefore, those two powerhouses who qualified for the last time in 1998 got the automatic byes as co-hosts. With less competitions, it would be much easier for the PRC to get into the big dance since they would always finished behind Saudi Arabia. This turned out to be the case and the PRC would never be qualified under normal circumstances. 2. At the FIFA Ranking of 50th in the World, the PRC was also the 'lowest" ranking team in the 32 countries participated in the tournament. Despite of spending money hiring a quality national coach in well-known Bora Milutinovic from Serbia, the PRC simply could not even score a single goal in the round robin stage and suffered losses of 0-2, 0-4, and 0-3 to Costa Rica (29th ranked), Brazil (2nd), and Turkey (22nd) respectively. 3. Beginning at the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France, 8 additional teams could be qualified to the tournament from 24 to the present day 32. Making the once tough qualifying much easier than before. In the old days, only 16 teams qualified for the tournament. Asia was only shared 1 spot and required to compete with powerhouse in Australia from the Oceania side in the playoffs. Therefore when the DPRK qualified for the 1966 World Cup as the true East Asian country for the very first time and competed well in England, it was quite a surprise back then. 4. Therefore with increased funding, football in the Middle East, and particularly in South Korea and Japan, where professional league began to complement with their 2002 co-hosting the World Cup, gained from strength to strength. Meanwhile, the once dominant East Asia powerhouse of the PRC, were lacking behind in their development of the sport. Mainly due to the usual bureaucracy from the CCP, lack of talent pool plus severe limited qualified training staff, equipment and facilities. In addition, the advent of the Chinese Super League (CSL) literally were sponsored by the wealthy conglomerates such as Evergrande, SIPG, Suning and other major corporations with close ties to the CCP. Similar to the operations from the Middle East Princes who own many of the European Giant Football clubs as a tax write-offs and other illegitimate tax shelter front. It was, and still is the same motif with the CSL clubs. Often they offered obscene amount of bids for the best European players. However, the tales of these superstars in the PRC were another story altogether. Many of the PRC Mainland players never respected the basic rules of the sport. As the mentality of the PRC Mainlanders under the CCP with their constant brainwashing, is the furthest requirement of mindsets required for a cohesive team sport with 11 players on the field. As a result, many had severe injuries with horrible fouls suffered. Not only that, many players' promised wages were missing or deferred due to the team's trickery in their altered contracts and financial managements. Therefore, there were many teams literally folded due to financial distress. The Jiangsu Suning team, who just won the 2020 CSL Title, withdrew from the sport along with their ladies and youth supporting teams just three months later in February 2021 from financial difficulties. Suning is a big name in terms of conglomerates in the PRC, as they are well-known in technology, consumer electronics, investments and other fields. They are still the majority owner in Inter Milan, one of the biggest club in Italy and Europe. However, when Inter Milan finally won their domestic title in 2021, Suning started to sell their top players. Then their famous manager, Antonio Conte, was so disgusted that he left the team and now manages for the England Elite Team in Tottenham Hotspurs.

  91. Those were extremely wise words from sages of Ancient Chinese scholars. Thank you very much for explaining those concepts down to a meaningful level. The beauty of Chinese is to combining necessary factors to compound the words and making them profound. Certainly, with the CCP doing the brainwashing and destroying the classical Chinese. No one would have a clue. Or worse, those who Anti-CCP simply believed that Mao and his rest of the leaders lumped CCP as "Chinese". So they would all have the misconceived notion that CCP IS "CHINESE". Hence, they would played right into Beijing's mind games of "bait and switch". When you do not even have the correct facts at the very beginning, you will never able to resolve any conflicts and able to establish meaningful solutions. Like yourself, I had unknowingly becoming a pro-Democracy activist in the last two years due to what was happening in my original home country of Hong Kong. So I am familiar with the process and the strategies you mentioned in this very video. Never had I realized that somehow with more thoughts, wisdom and courage. Items which I naturally feared and shy away from, such as writing meaningful and impactful deliveries of public speeches, responding to corresponding media interviews, as well as publications of articles and reports, had gradually becoming second nature. This transformation had led me to attempt at a few different projects on writing a book with a comprehensive and detailed aspects of Hong Kong from 2019 to 2021 (the original thought was from a written report done in mid 2020), along with various future topics of the PRC, CCP and the effects of Beijing's Global Politics. Plus being able to originate a great idea to be the perfect antithesis of the "Belt and Road" Initiative very similar to the concept of your approach in this very video. More than ever, we all need a fair amount of doses both in "Wisdom" and "Courage". My fortunate upbringing in Hong Kong during my childhood and continuing my lifepath in Canada since 11, has combined the best aspects of the Eastern and Western civilization. I am hoping to continue into that path of the education in my life. Not only to continually taking in the great knowledge of wisdom, but to aptly and correctly apply them in a meaningful and impactful way. Thus completing the purpose of education, which is a Latin word simply means, "To Bring Out". Just like the Chinese in a two part process to complete the full meaning of a word. It is difficult in today's turbulent world to fully comprehend the real and the plain facts. Particularly from various media sources trying to slandering their angles and opinions to simply gathering sound bites for meagre moments of popularity or viral moments online. Let alone to have the fortitude of not having any fears nor perceived attacks from anyone having various opinions on the matter regardless of background knowledge, or simply shaped by their original foundation of particular ideologies. More than ever, we need to embrace more empathy and openness to cope with the current CCP Virus Pandemic, the turbulent Global Geopolitics, the Mother Nature response to our willful ignorance of this very planet for material gains, and a host of issues impacting our Democracy, Civil Liberties, Freedom and Human Rights. Instead of arguing, perhaps carefully listening first, even with something completely opposite or sounding absurd. We need to consciously see others' point of view to see the reasons of their thinking - Mainly the "Who, What, When, Where, Why" and "How". Then we can carefully and skillfully respond in return. Let's remember that our precious gift in a Democracy is to have the Freedom of Speech, which everyone is entitled to do so without infringing other's rights of the same. This video gives the Chinese perspective of this. In the Western Civilization, it is from a Dutch origin of "The Ancient Law Merchant" compiled in 1622 called "Live and Let Live" - The simple definition is "that a person should live as he or she chooses and let other people do the same His philosophy was to live and let live." When this philosophy is done right, it can have extremely powerful attributes to other parts of your own life as well as others. I was clearly able to link the two similar thoughts and put them both together in such meaningful ways. Thank you for your expert, detailed and concise analysis on your videos. I am looking forward to more of your wisdom and courage into this unknown of 2022. Based on the trend and the trajectory of the current World. We all need those two words in our daily thoughts and actions.

  99. This is not a closed secret. Huawei was the first case of committing industrial espionage to gain telecommunications trade secret by stealing from Nortel since the 2000s. It had done so for more than decade, well before Nortel filed for bankruptcy. Even with Trump's ban on Huawei ever since the Meng Wanzhou's saga in Vancouver on December 1st, 2018. Huawei simply closed their US operations and diverted their funds North of the border to Canada. Their investments and contributions to the 19 Major Canadian Universities have been increased significantly year-after-year. Australia's security bureau, Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), listed Canada as the third highest concentration of collaborators with the CCP/PLA in their own post-secondary institutions. Moreover, Beijing has successfully using their United Front with the Chinse Students and Scholars Associations (CSSA) and targeting their overseas' recruits in their "Thousands Overseas Talent Program' to further expose them to collaborate and cooperate with the PRC. Mainly with financial contributions and duplicate advanced laboratory research setups in the PRC. These types of corruptions and briberies are not new. It is just a different avenue of "Attract, Bait and Slaughter" technique that Lei has mentioned earlier. Albeit in an academic and industrial process, rather than in a business or political setting. Speaking of Professor Charles Lieber, I had a chance to have a spirited debate on Social Media with a PRC-born and raised Engineering Professor at Harvard. He adamantly defended Professor Lieber and his innocence. Furthermore, he claimed that Harvard University has already filed a civil lawsuit against the US Federal Government. Mostly on groundless and baseless accusations to clear Professor Lieber's professional reputations along with the pristine name of Harvard University itself. As you can see, if Harvard University are fully standing to the side of the CCP, then you can imagine just how serious the serious degree of infiltration, interference and influence Beijing has around the world. If we don't do anything soon, then you can see far more of these stories happening. Already, we have seen such breaking news exposed by the campus media being silenced by the University Board of Governors regarding these activities by the CCP/PLA. It will only get worse from this point on.. We must stopped this non-sense once and for all.

  103. I believe that this topic should be addressed as 'Cultural Appreciation' for the Western Ladies wearing the Qipao. If I recalled correctly, when I was working in Hong Kong back in 2000. The annual professional Ladies' Tennis Tournament (WTA) in Hong Kong often had a pre-tournament introduction media social gathering where all the participating ladies were wearing the Qipao to promote the Chinese culture. Since all of them are pretty and extremely fit. They were well appreciated as they should be. When you talk about 'Cultural Appropriation'. Look no further than Shenzhen. What type of language and dialect is used in Guangdong? Of course, it should be Cantonese. Cantonese had a large history and a distinct culture just like many of the various provinces in China which were celebrated until Mao's empire. So how come folks like Winston and C-Milk whom they have been living there as a hometown for a combined 20 years plus couldn't even speak any Cantonese? The reason is simple. It is 'Cultural Appropriation' where during Deng's open policy to industrialize China, many people from all corners of the country flooded to the Shenzhen for factory work to earn a better living than back home. With time, all those newly immigrated people from elsewhere came there, but they never appreciated the unique Cantonese culture and their traditional ways of life. Simply because the CCP forbate that because the Party is always greater and Putonghua is the dominant language. So even in Guangdong, many Party Members are banning speaking Cantonese, a lot of traditional restaurants were dying because many cooks were from elsewhere that they have absolutely no clue of how traditional Southern Chinese cooking are being prepared. You have principals in local schools forbidden speaking of Cantonese because the dialect reflected only for those with low class and education. Hard to believe that Traditional Chinese and the Han Culture went back for thousands of years, where Simplified Characters were enforced nationally since Mao. Therefore, prior to the Handover of 1997. Many residents in Guangdong largely depends on the television and radio programs from Hong Kong to keep their heritage in tact. Now, you will be hard pressed to find young people there knowing how to speak Cantonese, let alone how to write Traditional Chinese Characters as they 'meant' to be. In Hong Kong, the suppression of our way of life goes so far with 'Cultural Appropriation' as with a Senior CCP party member in charge of education, whom he is not even a Professor of language, critical of Cantonese only being a dialect which has no social or cultural significance in Hong Kong's education. Rather than for the inept Hong Kong Government to select those who could speak up on the subject, whom they are fully tenured professors in that field and extremely knowledgeable with the Cantonese language to offer other constructive comments. They are going ahead with the 'Patriot Education', which only highlights the glory of the CCP as their basis to brainwash the young. Of course hiding many of the dark truths simply to wipe out the thoughts of an entire generation and beyond. This might seems normal for the rest of Mainland because 'Cultural Appropriation' was exactly what Mao and his successors did in all corners of China to assimilate their own brand of culture from those minority heritages which they should be celebrated with their diversity. I wondered if Winston or C-Milk would starting to learn Cantonese and throughout their own motorcycle travels to find out just how diverse Chinese ethnicity are. There are over 40 to 50 different dialects which are often distinct and unique. Along with their own cuisine, thought patterns and so on. They should be appreciated, unfortunately, CCP with their own agendas are quickly killing them. Usually, if a unique language or dialect is not maintained within 3 generations, they are usually gone for good. Many of the indigenous cultures in the Mainland were already wiping out. In Guangdong, the extinction of the Cantonese culture is in display for the past 40 years. Only the effort of Hong Kong, South East Asia and the overseas immigrants are fighting hard to preserve what is being left.

  107. I would like to include an inconvenient truth about the airline industry. The team of Flight Crew on a typical flight consists of groups of Pilots and Flight Attendants, ONLY GETS PAID while the airplane is off the ground. Therefore, their hours of pre-flight meeting of weather report, possible flight path variations, potential issues with related flight control monitoring personnels and other technical aspects for the pilots. As well as the specific needs for special customers who need various attentions, dietary restrictions and medical requirements, would also be addressed with the Flight Attendants. All must be ready hours before the flight and ensure absolute safety on the plane before even allow boarding of the passengers. The pilots do paid well, but they had to put a lot of money up front for flight training colleges, then thousands of hours accumulating experiences from small planes, to medium sized cargo planes, then to regional aircrafts to earn their wings before completing their dreams of finally being a pilot for a jumbo passenger plane. The flight attendants also have to partake grueling training once they were hired based on the personal and academic skills, as well as their proficiencies of secondary and tertiary languages test. They had to deal with many situations and unusual circumstances that would come in their ways. What other people simply didn't know is that the Flight Attendants while on air also acted as security, whereby restraining irritating and uncontrolled outbursts of particular passenger which posed urgent safety issues for the entire flight. They are authorized to restrain and even use force to subdue that passenger for the safety of everyone. In other words, they are the actual police while on the flight. Not too many people give their ultimate respect in terms of professionalism. Please do and respect them at all times. Also they are never as well paid in terms of flight attendants. Even in the luxury airliners such as the Emirates and Qatar Airlines. Their living expenses in those countries are every pricey. For the Asian airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and so on. They only hired the young ones for their looks and often do not continue after their three years contract expires. Yes, they do get very generous discounts on hotels and other accommodations, but that seldom equates to their paltry wages, even on the best global airlines. Like many industries, there are many good and bad aspects which no one will know. Unless you know something or personally working for one to truly understand. I really doubt that those pilots and flight attendants in the PRC are remotely being paid on par with their colleagues outside the PRC, which made the plausible reasons even more sad and puzzling. Yet very true based on my personal experience and others working in the airline industry.

  112. Currently, there are three active members of the Hong Kong Entertainment Industry who belong to the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC): Jackie Chan, Liza Wang (the lady at 2:35 of the video flanking Chairman Xi and Donnie Yen on the other side, which Winston by mistake called her 'Xi's Wife'), and Donnie Yen. Now, what do these three Hong Kong-based celebrities have in common? Well, all three of them were unknown before coming to Hong Kong. They had some acting skills but none were famous, all had to work from the humble beginnings and their hard work were known by supporting Hong Kong fans to the point that they were household names. All had started in TV and Films and became influential in the industry circle. However, while the Hong Kong fans supported them and boosted their status internationally. All fleeced their loyal Hong Kong fans and turned their support to the CCP instead. It was easy to see how post Hong Kong 1997 handover and the huge enticing PRC lucrative market 10 times the size, prompted them to make as much RMB as possible, and at the same time, to gain the trust of the inner circle of Beijing to push for a status as a member of the CPPCC - The highest token available for a civilian to become a member of the CCP. Other lesser known Hong Kong entertainers also rode similar coattails to be a municipal political member from a city or a smaller province. All to suck up to the almighty CCP so they can keep their names on the top of the list when it comes to any television or filming opportunities. Such turncoats who betrayed Hong Kongers are many, as anyone with decent morals and values absolutely hated these bastards who sold out Hong Kong for the true values of Freedom, Democracy and Rule of Law.

  113. @ That Japanese Man Yuta I understand that you speak English very well from your videos. English is actually very difficult for Asian people growing up there. The reason simply is that there are a lot of 'exceptions' to the already many rules they have. As well, similar to other languages. Regional spelling and usage of words will be different depending on where you live. Not only U.S. English are different than the English from the UK. But within their own countries, each region has their own dialects and also with words that might not be used anywhere. It is exactly when a foreigner learning the typical Kanto based Japanese instructions, then being somewhat confused when speaking to locals in Kansai. Moreover, with changes in time, some of the English grammar taught only 50 years ago are hardly used today. An example is the double past tense, such as 'had had', and so on. Similarly, a novel written in the Meiji Era would have today's folks scratching their heads a little. Just like every other languages. What makes Japanese difficult is the learning of the basics, combined with the more complex structures in the immediate part, leading to the advanced part of the language such as Keigo and 'The Everyday Kanji'. It is more like about 3,000 to get by reading a normal newspaper. The difficult trick for Kanji is to know all the uses of the 'On' (Chinese Meaning and pronunciation) and the Kun (Japanese Meaning(s) and their pronunciations) within the context of the sentence itself. In addition, the culture and the society of Japan has a large variance of how to write, read or express the same message in Japanese. One must always be reminded of his/her status and the addressing audience/company to make sure that it is always correct. This notion is often find in societies where group ordinance always preceding individuality. Learning any languages would be difficult by yourself without support of tutors or friends who can interact and giving crucial 'face-to-face' time. Therefore, in an immersion environment where you are forced to speak and learn. You would learn faster and adjust more to the language than just by the audio route.

  116. This experience by Mr. Drew Pavlou was nothing new at the University of Queensland. Overseas campuses and public spaces all over the world, the Lennon Walls in their perspective city would be destroyed at least once by these brainwashed rabid Wumaos, Tankies and other Pro-CCP zealots. From the recordings by Mr. Pavlou, that woman and two others whom he recorded, was not isolated incident. Those were members of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA). The CSSA from the SURFACE, appears to be like ANY NON-PROFIT STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS. But they ARE NOT. Why? The student union organization committee never have any funds or protocol in place to verify every student group, let alone the CSSA. In fact, the CSSA IS NOTHING MORE THAN A STUDENT FRONT FOR THE UNITED FRONT WORK DEPARTMENT (UFWD). In other words, these students are like to be CCP MEMBERS, OR THE VERY LEAST CCP YOUTH GROUP MEMBERS. THE CSSA IS A VERY SECRETIVE ORGANIZATION. However, that doesn't mean they ONLY have PRC-based members. They DO RECRUIT OPENLY for other members NOT in their OWN RACE or nationality. I have a very good friend who was enrolled in a major Canadian University during his undergraduate days. "That student" (use to protect identity and anonymity) joined the CSSA solely trying to get more votes because of running at the Student Union Election. This was what "that student" had discovered about the CSSA: 1. There are separate CSSA charters for the English-speaking and the Chinese-speaking members. Of course, the English-speaking one is quite abbreviated compared with the Chinese ones. The Chinese Charter is written in Simplified Chinese and Putonghua is often the language spoken. Many of the CCP Party principles were repeated there for the emphasis of brainwashing and reinforcement. It is not unusual where they will have some forms of flag raising ceremony periodically and playing the dreaded "The March of the Volunteers" often. 2. The CSSA carefully skirt their sources of funding directly from the PRC Consulate. This is important to prevent themselves of registering themselves as "Foreign Agents" required by the US anti-trust law. As anyone recalled, Professor Charles Lieber from Harvard was arrested for lying to the Federal Agents with his direct involvement with the "Thousands Talent Plan for Foreigners" and failing to disclose private funding from the CCP. 3. Unlike any student organizations by cooperating with other groups and having fun events together, the CSSA heavily isolating themselves and permanently shielding their own members from associating with any other students except their own. To impose fear and self-censorship, ALL SPONSORED PRC OVERSEAS STUDENTS must ALWAYS BE WITH SOMEONE. So that they can self-monitoring each other at all times. Any suspicious activities would be encouraged to snitch out each other. In other words, they might as well be back in the PRC if they cannot even experience this wonderful opportunity for freedom, rights, transparencies and openness. 4. To isolate themselves even further, they shun themselves from watching any local Western News, internet and other documents not from the PRC. Their use of WeChat and Weibo social media platform, which required all users to have a PRC identification, is a way the thwart anyone from infiltrating within. Also the CCP monitor all online platforms 24/7, so they can watch and censor those questionable materials against them. 5. I once went to a CSSA event. At my alma mater, CSSA due to their affiliations with the UFWD and direct funding from the local PRC Consulate, was delisted back in 2019. However, all they needed to do was to change their group names to "Chinese Graduate Students Association" (CGSA) and carried on as before with the same trouble makers heading the renamed UFWD group. It was on November 2019 with a "Fun Ping Pong Tournament". This was what I saw from the morning of the all day weekend event: A. They will have graduates who completed their programs still helping out the CGSA. B. The leaders' excuses for not collaborating with other groups and hanging out with students from other cultures, was that they don't want to be influenced by the "wrong people" with "incorrect thoughts". They were of course referring to the Canadian Media and Government. C. There were members recording the events with their phones or with their Video Cameras. In fact, they put postings on the pillars inside the event site, to warn others to walk the other way if they don't want to be filmed. D. I spotted the local table tennis club who agreed to donate some prices. However, I am not sure with their amateur coaches still having cozy relationships with Beijing and the UFWD. E. I recognized several people who were either counter-protesters at any Anti-CCP rallies and symposium talks. In fact, one heckled loudly at a Pro-Hong Kong Movement seminar only several weeks prior. Especially when he was not only spewing lies, but he tried to deny that the songwriter for the PRC's National Anthem, was in fact torture and died in prison in 1968, when Mao branded him as a traitor. He finally gave in after 2 hours of playing charade and what-about-ism with me. He also claimed that he is a proud CCP Party Member. F. They required quite a bit of financial outlays due to the paid structure of the CSSA. They would get the PRC Consulate to sent funds to another UFWD group, before winding back through secondary channel back to them. They always get paid for being counter-protestors or being thugs. To them, Patriotism is a JOB, where you always receive money from the CCP to push their agenda. G. Their operation is exceedingly simple. CSSA receives order directly from the local PRC Consulate, who controls with their own designated region. At the highest level of the UFWD, they give those instructions and the top--down orders of materials, funding and other resources required. Often in every CSSA event or counter-protests, there would be at least one person to monitor and overlook everything. Similar to the Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Anti-Asian Hate (AAH) Movements, UFWD would be there to self-written, direct and produce everything with their propaganda news or in social media to reflect that the CSSA and other UFWD groups represent, protect and push all of their motives to gain an upper-hand on their public opinion front. Their target is never the Western audience, but to continue brainwash their own PRC citizens instead. If anyone needs to know the CCP in a nutshell. It would probably be their ultimate motto: "Survive to Consume" and "Conquest to Destroy". The CCP is a killing machine that would cannibalize their own CCP elites. No one is exempted. Their way of "Attract, Trap and Destroy" is their way of determine the fate for any CCP members and associates who are dumb enough to collaborate with them. It is high time for any Overseas' Universities not to take any funding by the PRC. Otherwise, with their industrial espionage everywhere, plus the damage of the UFWD and CSSA, certainly would putting the rest of the world to fully accepting and celebrating their full conversion to be a Marxist- Leninist fundamentalist. What the Western countries need to do is two folds: 1. Destroy their financial trails with the enactment of the Global Magnitsky Law. Confiscate their ill-gotten wealth and freezing their assets, along with their associates willing to breaking laws . 2. Completely shut down WeChat and Weibo, and other PRC-based social media outlets. This way, the UFWD's effectivness is gone. Then these Pro-CCP Wumao, Tankies and brainwashed souls. So that they will have nowhere to hide. Otherwise, those dire consequences can kill you.

  119. Excellent video by Winston as usual. By the way, I have written a lengthy report regarding to the CCP's direct involvement with the Black Lives Matter (BLM) and the Anti-Asian Hate (AAH)Movements. It is a lot worse than you think. The Vancouver incident that was described at the 5:50 of this video had a lot more involvement. After the security, there was a person also blocking that counter-protester with the Anti-CCP sign. It was discovered that his name was Steve Ting, one of the organizer from the main group called "Asian Canadian Equity Association" (ACEA). They are directly tied to Pro-CCP group with funding backed by Hong Guo. Guo is a former lawyer in Richmond, British Columbia that was involved in fraud, misappropriation of funds and unprofessional conducts which lawsuits filed against her for a total of $13 Million CDN from her former clients. She was also being sued by two major Canadian Banks. As well, she ran for the 2018 Mayoral Race in Richmond, and declared that she denied any genocide in East Turkestan (Xinjiang) and the Uyghurs were a group of terrorists that needed to be punished. When a Chinese-Canadian journalist interviewed her and main organizer Xing (David) Zhang, they were extremely defensive and uncomfortable with her questions. So much so that when the unflattering article came up a week before the 3/28 6 cities Cross-Canada rally for AAH Movement. Her WeChat group attacked her and called her a 'whore'. These were all reported by the smaller local media group but was never mentioned. It is completely ironic that the leading AAH Movement group not only supported Pro-CCP, but openly attacked other Asians who disagreed with their brainwashed beliefs. It was the same in Washington at the 3/21 rally where a group of Uyghurs in a caravan clashed with the AAH group by shouting slogans against the CCP. In return, they were being hurled as "racists" by the AAH supporters. These Canadian rallies did not have any Asian national flags, Pro-Democracy Ethnic Asian Groups were completely absent, sensitive terms such as "CCP, Hong Kong, East Turkestan, Tibet, Genocide, and so on" were never mentioned. Also Xinhua and Weixin (Pro-CCP Overseas Media) were recording these events as the CCP promoting racial equality on behalf of the Canadians. Of course, they were written in Simplified Chinese for the Pro-CCP Overseas Chinese and back home in the PRC. Other past negative news with their partners, such as Maple Leafs Anti-Racism Actions Association, (MLARA) was alleged with ties to the United Front Work Department (UFWD) of China. MLARA sued a journalist who wrote an lengthy investigate report, detailed the UFWD scheme in Canada at bulk purchasing the medical supplies back to the PRC prior to the lockdown and the pandemic declared by the WHO on 3/11/2020. This caused worldwide panic of countries not having enough of their own medical supplies to deal with this new virus quickly spreading. Somehow, a Canadian Federal Minister in charge of Digital Government, Joyce Murray, her WeChat account was being used by a Mainlander Canadian Chinese member and sent a message to donate funds for the MLARA on Murray's behalf, complete with a QR code in doing so. Both BLM and AAH Movements were associated not only with the CCP, but funding being provided with the AAH by Silicon Valley heavyweights in Venture Capital Firms and Eric Yuan, CEO of Zoom. All with heavy connections to the PRC and the CCP. Besides, UFWD backed US Group, Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) were link to both movements. BLM and AAH Movements were extremely discreet in using the social justice for racial equality and harmony as a front to lure passionate and activists for humanitarian change. But both were intended to mass recruit members and convert them to full-fledged Marxist, as the Black Future League (BFL) were tied with the funding of the CPA. It is extremely difficult to link the CPA to both movement unless you look really carefully at the details. Furthermore, the CCP tactics being used with both movements are extremely obvious to those who understand Beijing, but would be completely glossed over by most public. Being vigilant is the key. As BLM already spread to 15 chapters worldwide and more new ones are formed as we speak. The AAH are trying to follow exactly the same. Already, BLM already participated with the AAH Movement Rallies. Their so-called goals of "African and Asian Liberation Movements" will soon turned to "Marxists Pan-African and Pan-Asian Movements" if we don't spread out the danger and making sure these movements must be ridded out the Pro-CCP agendas. If anyone wants to truly defend Democracy and Freedom for the world against the CCP, please feel free to respond. Thank You!

  130.  @cdl0 Actually, the projected decline in population in the PRC, Hong Kong, Japan and other East Asian countries is true. Similar to the North America and European problem due to economics and social conditions. They were the similar factors from the scientific studies as well. In addition, the PRC's own problems exasperated from the "One Child Policy", killing more than 500M unborn babies not only limiting future mating chances for the offspring, but also severely creating employment gaps where those positions could not be filled once those workers are retired. The increased economic burden by the adults taking care of their senior parents plus their children. Now the CCP is forcing the "Three Child Policy" as law to govern for their asinine "Social Credit Scores". This would put even more pressure for the PRC residents not to have children and married due to increased economic burden in living costs. Remember, PRC Premier Li Keqiang (second in command) on his May 28th, 2020 response to Chairman Xi's previous declaration proclaimed that "The PRC has eradicated poverty." Over 1 Billion in the PRC earned $1,000 RMB or less ($140 USD) per month, also over 600 Million earned $2,000 RMB or less ($280 USD) per month. In other words, based on estimated 1.4 Billion total population, severe and moderate working poor class averaged in every five and two PRC residents for every seven people in the entire country. Of course, this does not factoring in the PRC's own genocide for the ethnic minorities in Tibet, East Turkestan, Southern Mongolia, religious followers and prisoners of conscience throughout the country. Forced sterilizations from labour camps, torture, forced marriages and encroaching with forced Han migrations to those invaded and annexed territories for decades, had severely dwindled their own populations. Professor Adrian Zenz's detailed studies in Washington, along with other global experts, has proven all beyond any doubts. There were other circumstances for the present and future downward trend for the PRC populations. However, the "One Child Policy" remained the primary reason. It is the same as other CCP's past asinine decisions which exasperated them today.

  146. Thank you for the interview as Ms. Henley is well respected in the Canadian and International Media with her colleagues in the industry and the astute viewers alike. The way it is right now with the woke style as the main message from the very top in media, management, education and so on. There is a huge backlash and pushback where fundamental core human values and morals which we believed in a Democracy are being challenged. We also need to find out the actual causes of why these powerful people at the helm holding such asinine views. More importantly, going back to the fundamentals of journalism and finding the "Who, What, When, Where and Why" plus "How" to find the real culprit which drastically influence them. Chances are, these extreme ideas and views were planted by the Soviet style of brainwashing and influence while they were in post-secondary. In fact, some of the 1960s rebellion against the US Government on the Vietnam War began on the college campuses, while some of the points where they rebel and revolt might be justified. Many have gradually morphed those moderate points to extreme fundamentalists beliefs where the Soviet style of conversion succeeded - with the long range and slow progression of brainwashing first, then the gradual and the accelerated level to quickly establish the new ideology as the dominant thoughts. Meanwhile, the majority of the sheep mentality in the society were completely unaware of the conversion by these leaders, and they too, would be accustomed to be avid followers. These type of mind and ideology conversion is nothing new. As we have seen it in most of the elderly who grew up in the autocratic regimes throughout the world. Whether they reside in former Soviet's Warsaw Bloc, in Mao's PRC, various Communist and Military dictatorship in Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America, plus the Neo-Fascism agendas as well. For example, those PRC citizens who were between childhood and adolescence under Cultural Revolution, still exhibited those hardcore fundamentalist ideologies and Maoist' thoughts from their treasured "The Little Red Book". In fact, many of those who have since immigrated elsewhere, largely retained those sentiments and behaviours due to the ingrained mind conversion becoming normal. If people like Ms. Henley and others do not speak out on Wokism and other extreme fundamentalists' ideologies, then our existing societies based on Democracy, would be under severe attacks where our Civil Liberties, Freedom of Speech and Personal Choice, plus other inalienable rights would be completely destroyed by those voices with the elite and powerful trying to assert themselves as the ultimate guideline to follow. This is how autocracy, communism, fascism, one-party regimes and military government operates. We better wake the hell up to speak against this and fight to the end, or else our Democracy would be gone forever.

  149.  @FRIPPE_THE_GREAT  Basically Yes! You just answered the question yourself. Mao introduced "Simplified Chinese" and "Putonghua" to the largely rural farmers because they were uneducated. This is why compared to Traditional Chinese, those abbreviations seldom made any sense at all. Also, the use of the CCP's official Propaganda messages, whether through their printed or online media on People's Daily or Global Times, CCTV or CGTN on Television, or even their Beijing official press releases and official speeches. If you read them "carefully" with the sophisticated knowledge of Chinese, then you will know that their sentences were wordy, complicated, convoluted, full of their Party Phrases or Lingoes (often with secondary and tertiary messages hidden behind). Many of the educated Chinese elsewhere often have to re-read the same at least three to four times to decipher and get their proper intentions behind all those mirages and camouflages. Therefore, only a handful of CCP academic and subject experts can decisively comprehend Beijing's sinister nature. While most Westerners without in-depth knowledge, would had vast difficulties even to understand what they meant on ground levels. As for the brainwashed masses in the PRC, they just resigned to follow the CCP's central message of "LISTEN to the Party's messages. FOLLOW to the steps of the Party. The Party will make the People WELL and the Country STRONG." You will see all of these Propaganda Messages everywhere on the billboards, painted on the walls, and of course, in many of their controlled online message boards. Hopefully, you will understand how the CCP operate in the PRC as a form of MASS CONTROL - No different than in the MARXIST - LENINIST IDEOLOGY PLAYBOOK. This is nothing new, but rehashing and retrenching of old, boring fundamentals of Communism since the early 20th Century.

  152. Winston is spot on! A lot of Buddhist temples were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution and the Great Leap Forward. So naturally, just to appease the West that the Mainland Economic Reform is also spreading to 'religious' freedom as well. Why not fake them all just like anything they do like faked goods, fake food and now, fake Buddhist monks, Catholic Priests, even a fake Dalai Lama who only answered to Beijing's Red Chamber! Traditional Buddhist temples are similar to places of worship in other religions. During the Chinese festivals, many followers brought their incenses, fake money and other worships to the Buddha and other Gods from typical supplies stores. They offered them by lighting the incenses, burning the fake money as the sign of warding off any evil spirits, paying respect to their ancestors and the Buddha to grant safety, luck, longevity or other well wishes to them and their family. Of course, you can also buy the same at their own general store at nominal prices. There are others who offered services such as wishing sticks, which is no more than letting marked number sticks dropped on the floor from tilting the holder forward. The first one is retrieved and the fortune teller will predict your upcoming events (good or bad), again with a nominal fee. As well as having a group of monks to pray for your family at a funeral service, with the same request similar to a special Catholic mass for the extra service provided for the occasion. What they do not have at any traditional Buddhist temples is the special 'collection' box whereby they will guarantee you chances of whatever your wishes if you give them more money. Many of those fake Buddhist monks come from Hubei. They have their fake certificate of authenticity with hardly the minimum qualifications of the Buddhism education. Many are married and their spouses doing the same scamming. Similar to Shenzhen, they are everywhere in Hong Kong, throughout Southeast Asia and even in Europe and in North America as well. Most of the time, they are begging on the streets or trying to sell you fake Buddhist trinkets at ridiculous prices. If you refused their request, they will be extremely hostile to you. Also most of the people are generous or guilt-ridden to give them money. Please do not do so under any circumstances. Moreover, many of these fake monks open their own spaces. Often they will preach questionable mantras in scamming your money by their own schemes. Such as predicting lottery numbers as must win, pushing their fake Buddhism scriptures for more good luck and well wishes, making fake medicines or concoctions of some kind for miracle health cures, learning their courses to achieve nirvana, and of course, you give them your regular contributions for the well being of their Buddhist temple or place. Some of them will even luring you into sexual trysts for the same faithful experiences. All in all, they are doing nothing more than money laundering in the name of the religion. Throughout Hong Kong and even in holy places like Bangkok, many are caught with various punishments. However, they just don't go far enough. Speaking of the beggars, they are exactly as what Winston described. They are run by the syndicate Mainland Triads. Throughout the streets of Hong Kong, whether they are in the tourist areas or in the crowded spaces such as pedestrian bridges. Chances are, you will see them all over. Please do not give them money. Panhandling is a criminal offense in Hong Kong as in contribution to any panhandlers. You can do so much more to give to charitable organizations where your kindness will reach to the people that needed help. Police often turned a blind eye because they are either small matters or simply they don't care. Even if those illicit beggars are being sent back across the border, more will be able to sneak in because most are corrupted with the officials and the crime syndicates. People just needed to be aware of this. If something is not feeling right, chances are, your common sense is always correct.

  156. What is the 'good' shit on Mainland China? Care to elaborate? Because for every of your so-called 'good' ones, I could probably spent less than 30 seconds to debunk it with real facts and give you another 10 more which offered something totally opposite. So Winston has already mentioned objectively that he didn't know where and how safe the food in China was/is, but it is certainly cheaper than places like Hong Kong or Macau. So there is the dilemma, "You pay for what you get." Now, will the food in China kill you? Probably. It is just a matter of when, and you are taking chances. Whether your baby is drinking Sanlu laced with Melamine, or perhaps your teenage daughter putting those shinny cheap jewelries covered with Cadmium in her mouth or breathing those metal flakes, maybe you had better luck with your tainted burger from McDonald's but lady luck eluded you when you snacked on the crayfish from the toxic pond which ended up at your usual dive restaurant a few blocks away. So why do you think Mainland day-pass tourists are constantly hoarding sundries in Hong Kong and Macau. Some even traveled as far as Japan and Australia so they can resell them at Black Market Prices the moment the returned back to the border? That's just food, but what about other things such as household products and electronic gadgets. Being cheap is one thing and you can always get another one if they don't work. That's the easy part. However, what happened when you are using a fake charger for your phone and it caught fire? Then at the very least, you might have to spent more to get another phone. However, at the very worst, your house might get burned down? So, that's the agenda they want to promote and you can see it in their own people. At the end, is it really worth it?

  159. There is a real difference to the educated and being taught what is essentially meant to be Chinese from the Confucius ideas of "Filial Piety" and "Propriety" - Four simple Chinese words that is the moral and ethical behaviours of a human being. First, the word 'Dao' - "Way or Road" will guide your path in life. Second, 'De' - "Virtue" is the power, action and the integrity of oneself to contribute to the well being in humanity. So the combination of the two is the moral principles which sets the management of the society through deeds which karma will result with their directions in such manner. Third, 'Li' - "Respect" of the elders, parents, and ancestors through traditional means. It goes further to the nature and the environment of the society in which we are all accountable to each other. However, throughout evolution, we should keep the good and refine them and cast off those of the bad. Fourth, 'Yee' - "Responsibility" of your own actions, follow the ethical guidelines and most of all, helping those who cannot protect themselves. Those degenerates who did not learn and the ignorant ones are the results of what you see in all your videos. Simply because the Maoists in Beijing trying to control all aspects of their people's lives as the allegiance to the 'Party' is greater than the country - hence the fundamental problem of governance. That's why for the last 67 years, the CCP tried to instill their iron-clad nuisance for absolute power, and being hellbent to destroy the traditional Chinese ancient philosophies, which are very practical in the modern world anywhere today. Please take this as a case-by-case basis because there is an inherent difference with all Chinese and their corresponding opinions, as you have probably known from your extended stay in the Mainland and beyond.

  165. Not really, I speak a few languages myself including all of those you have mentioned. German is what you called "old English" where the traditional "King's English" were based on. For example, "have had, had had, and so on" which were taught decades ago but not now. Also English has lots of exceptions in the rules and thousands of dialects all over the world. Chinese is difficult in speaking and properly pronouncing verbal dialogues due to 'tonal' levels. Mandarin has a minimum of 4 levels and Cantonese has 9 (Most in the world). Japanese is more structured grammatically than Chinese because Chinese does not have 'tenses' describing past, present or future. Hence Chinese speakers often have trouble understanding grammatical structures. Japanese have 3 types of characters (Hiragana - native, Katakana - translation verbs from foreign languages (mainly English but not all) with sounds gerund not existed in Hiragana, such as the "f", Kanji (Chinese Characters) - which can be used to condense the Hiragana words and specify the intentions/meanings in the sentences. The difficult part is the "On - Chinese meaning", usually have one or two saying, and the "Kun - Japanese meaning", depends on the variety, you can have up to 20 or more for a common Kanji. Just to learn the typical "Toyo Kanji", which is equivalent to about 2,000 to 3,000 characters for adequate level of comprehension to read Japanese Newspapers. Takes a typical student all to way to graduating from Secondary School. Even then, some University graduates will have problems writing them. While you might be able to get away from simple English in big Japanese cities because of the metropolis crowd and the ex-pats. Once you are away and in the countryside, good luck to you because even I have problems speaking Japanese in Osaka due to different dialects. I learned Japanese in Canada in the typical Tokyo (Kanto) dialect and they speak much differently (Kansai) in Western Japan in Osaka and Kobe. It is same as learning Spanish in Europe where it is more Madrid based. However, in North America, Spanish is based more in the Mexican base from the standard Mexico City dialect.

  171. I Pleedafif It is difficult to say but the pollution levels in a lot of countries, regardless to the urban or rural locales had greatly influenced in the global warming problem. For myself, I have lived both in Hong Kong and Singapore. And the comparison is day and night. For me, you wouldn't want to swim in Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong as you will in the Hudson River in New York, or the waters around Rio. Yes, it was that bad. For the majority of the year, you could see heavy levels of smog over the clouds in Hong Kong. It is often difficult to see a clear view across the Harbour in Hong Kong standing from either side of Kowloon or Hong Kong Island. The air and water pollution often get worse with major constructions such as landfills or blasting islands to create extra space for apartment buildings, and also digging up contaminated ocean soils for major infrastructure projects. As a result, lots of endangered species are further affected. Such as the plight of the "pink dolphins" which are only local to that area. Often protections of the environment are being passed over to generating wealth. That's why more and more people are getting sick. They often wear masks in particular during and after the SARS crisis in 2003. Unfortunately, we are just barely scratching the surface of the environmental problems. Unless we are actively doing something about this, things will get worse and probably tipping to the point of no return, for our humanity. Then, no amounts of wealth could buy back the planet we savagely destroyed.

  179. Interesting thoughts. Here are the problems I am seeing with the two methods being suggested by this video: 1. "Let Xi Jinping determine the fate of the CCP". It is not as simple we think. On the one hand, there is a Battle Royale in the Red Chamber between the Xi and the Jiang Factions. Maybe more. However, we really don't know what is behind the scenes. Such as the main and the supporting casts behind the game of "Light and Shadow" which most of us wouldn't have a clue, but just guessing because of the secretive nature of the Party to control everything. The immediate danger of whether Xi already had his people installed so he can be governed like Mao: As an emperor for life. He might have the foresight to have modelled the Kim's family in North Korea to indefinitely ruling the PRC well after he would be stepping down. Or he would lead to the downfall of the CCP. This is all good and well. But the important point which many of us forget to mention, is WHEN? For example, how will the world be either of those scenarios will happen? Are we all going to suffer as worldwide slaves to the damages that the CCP already inflicted everywhere? From the current pandemic, economic turmoil, environment disasters, plus many factors currently and other issues facing us directly? 2. "We will work with the Anti-Xi's forces to overthrow Xi". Just like in the 1990s to restore the status quo. Everyone is happy. The West can work with the economic trades under the "Globalization Policy" and co-exist with the CCP. What is so bad then? Well, have we completely ignored the pure evilness of the CCP in the first place? The "One Child Policy'" where over 500M unborn babies were killed and Beijing charged up to $22K USD per baby? Or can we forget about the "Organ Harvesting" with the prisoners of conscience? The brutality of Tibetans and Uyghurs and other issues? Or are we naive enough to think that Xi's "Belt and Road Initiative", which is effectively nothing more than the biggest money laundering scheme in human history, would simply disappeared? There are a lot of negatives being felt around the world with this policy and we simply cannot go back there again. It is the same of Einstein's insanity theory by repeating the 1990s again and hoping that the outcome will be different. This is the reason why the poverty gap accelerated around the world where the super wealthy and the poor widened even more. Globally the cluster of the super wealthy had became more exclusive, albeit it then had the CCP Elites joining the group. Just as we don't want another Deng Jinping, Wang Jinping, Zhao Jinping or Li Jinping to continue with this CCP legacy. It would be crazy to have another Deng Zemin, Wang Zemin, Zhao Zemin or Li Zemin to do the same. Yes, Deng Xiaoping did opened up the PRC, but he held an iron grip to kept the riches to him and the elite. No different than what it is now. Except more of the wealth has spread to the executive puppets and those affiliates. With the mass populations of the PRC, especially in the rural side, being impoverished to the extreme. Quite simply, we cannot have the same status quo again. Which means the only positive change that can be made to the PRC and its citizens will be the complete implosion, destruction and annihilation of the CCP - To the point where there is not even a trace or remnants left of the 91.8 Million members or diehard followers anywhere around the world. The ONLY WAY is to completely wipe the slate clean for the PRC and the rest of the World of this evil 'Chi-Nazi' regime and other similar to restore the faith of mankind. Therefore, we MUST COMPLETELY ELIMINATE the CCP and to do this quickly. Or else, we will all be enslaved by the PRC with the BRI or our governments will simply kowtowing with Beijing over their bribes, collusions and corruptions. What is even more urgent is to have people all over the World to "Acknowledge, Aware, and planning constructive Actions" to stand up against this "Chi-Nazi" regime. Anything else will be completely useless. The sad part is that we don't have much time left. Is anyone listening? Or we are too ignorant and leading to our own demise very soon? The choice is yours.

  188. Although under the current climate. It is NEVER SAFE to do so. In Canada, our federal government had already raised travel to Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR), Macau SAR, and the PRC in the fourth and the top level of 'Red Alert Danger' when it comes to international travelling. Not only it was warned that anyone will have the possibilities of detainment or arrest with any violations to their National Security Law, which can be arbitrary with anything they can say as danger to their National Security. Any criticism of the CCP, HKSAR, can be construed as violations in terms of one of their four major crimes: Succession, sedition, foreign interference or terrorist activity. The crime itself does not have to occur over there, say if you are pictured with a friend in the US or anywhere outside the PRC, HKSAR and other regions, who is Pro-Hong Kong Democracy and he/she was wearing a T-shirt that said, "Hong Kong Independence". You are actually in violation of Article 38 of the Hong Kong National Security Law and Article 23 under foreign interference. Even that t-shirt itself, is considered a terrorist activity. Yes, as absurd as it may be. If the CCP considered you are an enemy of the state. You can actually be warranted by them for your arrest if you are dumb enough to go to Hong Kong or the PRC. Now, would they sent an Overseas PRC Agent to kidnap, murder or doing anything that stupid overseas to you? Probably less likely. But if you do have relatives and friends in those danger places. Don't be surprised at all that those agents might place an international call to you from their residences to stop what you are doing, or they will make your friends or relatives over there more than a living hell. This is what Pro-Democracy Hong Kongers, Tibetans and Uyghurs Activists Overseas had to endure from those turds for decades. If they can kidnap foreigners and playing the 'Hostage Diplomacy' game to lock them up long-term as bargaining chips. Please feel free to go to Hong Kong SAR or the PRC, but seriously, at your very own risk. I am not trying to scare you, but there are over 120 Canadians still being locked up with made up crimes inside the PRC prisons. With Americans in the same situations, at least twice or three times as much. And no, none of them do not have the big name like Women Basketball Star Brittney Griner in a sticky situation in Russia right now.

By the way, even with the decay of the Qing dynasty and the 'Century of Shame' as called by the CCP liars. Did you know that the Imperial China at the time still had the Fourth largest export in the World? It was only with the internal conflict, and the subsequent disastrous planning of Mao with mass starvation, plus closing of all trades, resulted in the dire consequences where Deng was left with no other choices, but to open up? Seeking for financial, technological and advanced education help from all over the world? Including Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, the US and so on? So before you are boasting with the 'My Country. It's truly Awesome!' slogan. Please take a gander of the assistance from others who are still helping you. Such as Huawei's 5G partners from Germany, Taiwan, US and Japan. Without them, how well will their phones work, or even ZTE? Also, how many Mainlanders really like to buy domestic cars compared with foreign ones? No matter how much they voiced their boycott of anything foreign? Besides, other than beating the KMT because they took the Japanese Forces on their shoulders. Also many defected to the CPC (Communists Party of China) during the second part of the Chinese Civil War. What possibly have the great PLA fought? I know! They were trying to sneak attack on the Vietnamese Army and got hammered back pillar to post hahaha! Seriously, what had the PLA done lately? As far as I know, they couldn't even do simple rescue at Macau after the typhoon two years ago. Most of the elite troops were out of shape, vomiting for just cleaning up garbage. But you can't blame them because they don't even have the most basic equipment for sanitary reasons! What else? Right, the Lioliang Aircraft Carrier - the same one decommissioned by the Ukrainian Army back in the 1990s for being too old and outdated. Yes, China is the second biggest economy in the world because of the population base. However, the GDP is still well below the global average and almost three times less than Taiwan. The gap between the rich party members and their affiliates, compared with those living in the rural areas (which incidentally, are even worse off today than the times of Mao and Deng). So good luck in your half truths and twisted propaganda messages from the Global Times, CCTV and the likes. You might fool others who do not know a thing about Beijing and the evil CCP. But not me and a bunch of overseas Chinese well educated on the true events in the Mainland.

  198.  @pyxel8926  They tried to put 'soft sell' with Confucius Institutes all over the world at the University Campuses Overseas. Also they have a giant billboard above New York City's Times Square. They are known to 'change' the wording of those articles and reports to making them even more favourable. Jack Ma last year bought Hong Kong's last English Newspaper in South China Morning Post from a pro-CCP Malaysian business tycoon. Articles being posted are even more one sided for Beijing than ever before. Also Hong Kong's popular Chinese Newspapers are setting up offices overseas in America (US and Canada) as well. Some of which has already switched side doing the same with their free weekly newspapers in Chinatown all over. Already there are Mainlanders immigrants who were pushing the pro-CCP agendas overseas. Along with industrial espionage in large scale with Huawei, ZTE, and other companies who stole important trade secrets and copyrights from their competitors. Some of the graduate and post-graduate students were caught stealing top secret scientific experiments in the leading edge Universities all over the world. Others were money laundering and outright doing fraud in manipulating business scams and failed deals. Such as real estate scams, immigration loopholes and so on. Many of them have ties directly with the CCP. Of course, they bought the influential politicians so they can use them as puppets in the back pockets. Several high ranking Asian based ministers in Canada. Also with Gary Locke, former Governor of Washington State and a cabinet member under Obama, had funding tied with Beijing. Speaking of National Security. The CCP has to spent money on that to control its own people. But to put high tech surveillance to such a degree that people are living in fear? Such as the questionable 'credit point system' to prevent people from travelling? Also having cashless system where everything you spend is being controlled and recorded. What if the system failed or your money gone missing mysteriously? I am not saying that Mainland China is not recognized for the improvement for the last 40 years. But it was only to do so in the selected cities, which majority of the people are still living in poverty. They are embracing capitalism under the tight control within their old and failed planned economics. This will failed miserably as the Empty Cities crisis, infrastructure failures, and most importantly, their last saving grace. The 'One Belt. One Road' Initiative is nothing more than money laundering in the biggest scale to those developing countries who cannot repaid the loan of these inferior and massive projects, which Beijing would simply using them as unofficial colonies. Just like parts of Africa such as Zambia, Djibouti (military base) and others, Venezuela (with the Oil), Sri Lanka (99 years using their port) and so on. I studied the evil of the CCP when I was young growing up in Hong Kong. Unlike others, I watched a fair amount of documentaries (banned films) and reading books about them. Let's be very honest. Ask any Hong Kong immigrants overseas why they chose to do so. All of them will tell you because of the Handover back to Beijing in 1997. There is nothing good with the current regime in the Mainland since 1949. The sooner it can implode, the better it is not only for the people living there, but the entire Chinese population around the world, and the world for that matter.
    1
  199.  @Shenzhou.  I will refute you pretty much on every single point. First off, I am not even sure if you have personally living in Hong Kong. In particularly during the Colonial Period like I did when I was born and grew up there. For people who do not know Hong Kong's history firsthand. Hong Kong's time during the Colonial time from 1841 to 1997 can be classified as 'Location, timing, rule of laws, and luck'. The first Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Charles Elliot, had established simple but very effective 'Rule of Laws', which were the most creative and the freest in the world, even much more than most democracies you see today. The location of the Harbour and the port made it ideal to be the trading point between the East and the West. The free trading status made it ideal. Also many of the business were shifted from Opium dealing to commercial trading of commodities, which quickly given the rises and the industrial/commercial base of these major companies you have seen today. Besides, Hong Kong government owned the land. So they make money by 'leasing' them to residential and commercial use in order to generate revenues. They left the Chinese to do whatever they wanted as long as they are not breaking laws. An example of this was the work of Dr. Henry Fok, who shipped medical and military supplies from Hong Kong to support the PLA troops during the Korean War. It was very significant. Seriously, do you think under a UK government who backed the Americans, he was allowed to help the enemy like this? But that was perfectly legal under the Hong Kong laws. Also they gave free lands to the Church, in exchange for them to do charities work helping out the poor in return. To a cash strapped, human resources poor, and lack of natural resources in such a small land. This was how they did to creatively work and get around with problems. Also Hong Kong was benefited from the stagnation in Mainland China during this period. At the height in the 1970s and the 1980s. Hong Kong had 0.5% of the population as the Mainland. Yet the GDP output was 22% of the PRC. That's why it was significant to Deng. Hong Kong was also a recipient to British input in organized planning in the infrastructures from education, health, transportation and so on. All to modernize this city into a metropolitan one. However, a lot of blood, sweat and tears were being put in by Hong Kongers themselves to built factories for light manufacturing after the WWII to put themselves equal footings as the 'Asia's 4 Tigers' with South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore. In short, the British gave a solid foundation to Hong Kong in all areas to thrive under the Colonial times. It wasn't perfect, but far better than the Beijing after 1997 for sure. Don't forget, there were a lot of fund raising and help from Hong Kong to support Mainland's disaster time and again. In terms of Japanese copying. Sure, everyone copies to some extent. However, often the Japanese and others improve and refine on the existing models to make it even better. That's how they are staying the competitive edge where they were being admired. You needed to put in the quality of the products before customers will spent the money to buy yours in quantity. It goes hand in hand. But do you see Mainland products doing that? There is no creativity whatsoever. To put this in a simple context. Why is there 'still' a need to have smugglers hoarding baby formulas all over the world from the melamine crisis years ago? Along with other basic products? Also why is the African Swine Flu crisis still happening in the Mainland for more than 6 months, and no signs are getting better? Only worse when shameless scammers putting them up as beef to be sold instead? If you want to project yourself as improving and as a world leader, then you have to demonstrate that you can actually do it 'on your own'. When Huawei is touting the 5G, with their Overseas Partners like Sony, Ericsson, Intel, and their competitors doing all the work for them. Is that progress? Tofu Engineering to buildings because fake builders don't care for safety of their residents. Would any respectable country allowed that to happen on a large scale?
    1
  200.  @Shenzhou.  KMT was no saint either. I seriously wished that Dr. Sun should stayed longer in charge rather than General Chiang. But compared with Mao and Chiang's time both in the Mainland and Taiwan. Seriously, which one would you choose? Also please ask the Cambodians of what they think of the Khmer Rouge. I am not even sure if you watched the 'Killing Fields' and the horror of Pol Pot. He was backed by the CCP, was he not? Speaking of the 'Communist Brothers', why weren't and still aren't so friendly you think? I can give you a clear answer. It has to do with the problem with religions, when it branches into the state religion as politics. In any faith based organization, there is a necessary control of power and will from the authorities to the followers so that they can be lemmings. Thus being obedient to the flock itself. That's why centuries of conflicts between major religious groups throughout the human civilizations never stopped today with each saying that 'Our God is better than Yours'. It is no different when the original 'Communist Manifesto' from Marx and Engels were morphed into Leninism, Stalinism, Maoism, and each of their different interpretations on the original script. All, of course, to suit their needs of keeping control and dominance. That's why none of these Communists Brothers were seldom in friendly terms, rather than finding ways to exploiting each other. In January 1979, Deng said to President Carter during his US visit saying, 'The little child is getting naughty. It is time to be spanked.' Of course he was referring to Vietnam. Your version of the war itself was probably according to the PLA's record and mine with the Western sources. So it will be stupid to refute. All I can say is this. Although the Vietnamese Army was inferior in numbers and weapons deployment. But they were brave and using a lot of creative guerrilla tactics, both in striking fear with the French Colonials and US Army during their decades long conflicts. They did the same with the PLA as well with various booby traps, surprise attacks and ambush to struck fears into the PLA. Most Westerner military experts and historians, including those high ranking US Army Generals, concluded that the Vietnamese Army outperformed the PLA during this battle. Besides, this war costed the CCP $3.45 Billion Yuan, which crippled their 1979-1980 economic budget. This was why Deng was desperate to get industrialized countries to help modernizing China. The first country he visited was Japan and speaking to the CEO of National (Panasonic) to invest a $220 Billion Yen plant in the Mainland and kick start the program.

  203.  @Shenzhou.  Wrong. Legislative Council (LegCo) members in the 1980s were granted by democratic elections, where anyone residing in the 18 districts were allowed to run. Furthermore, the Chinese cities you had mentioned did have a great growth in the past several decades. However, that was expected since the modernization of the Mainland. Many of which did surpassed Hong Kong. But don't forget, it was Mao's policies that stymied the economics of the PRC. Shanghai used to the be the biggest trading port in Asia until WWII. It has regained the status once again it used to have. However, had the CCP been smart, they could had done it more than decades before. By the way, 80% of the Huawei's components were made by the competitors and even more with ZTE. When Trump ordered the US to stop making the important components for ZTE, how quickly did ZTE went down to nothing? Please don't lie, I have friends who works in the higher up with Huawei and there are a lot more you don't want to know. Especially Huawei is pretty much the technological partner to the PLA. That's why all those glass hearts were shattered when Meng got detained by the Canadian authority for serious fraud charges in the US. If the PLA is so great, then why refurbished an Ukrainian Aircraft Carrier slated to be scrapped in the 1990s? Especially with antiquated technologies and using older style generators and fuels? Then modelling the new ones similar to the dated designs? Speaking of which, why were the PLA elite members never even have adequate safety equipment while doing simple thing like clearing up garbage from the aftermath of Typhoon Hato in Macau, with many of them couldn't even do simple tasks and some of them fainting in the summer heat? Like I said, keep bragging your 'My Country. It's really awesome!' slogan. Except you will never convince me even if you point a gun at my head. All those places along with Japan had great economical growth. Regardless of their one party dominating the politics for decades. Nonetheless, all have 'democratic' elections in the first place where people can freely vote. So it is really not authoritarian like you said because they are simply not like the PRC where there is only 'one' party and nothing else. Besides, it is not just the government. But the efforts rest on the citizens themselves. All of those countries with the 4 Tigers of Asia has the best education systems, steady 'Rule of Laws' (not rule by laws), lack of taxation in trades and commerce, great deal of democracy and people are striving for progress and working hard. It was completely different than the antiquated PRC planned economy system. Although they changed somewhat to the Capitalist style. The problem with the projects such as 'Empty Cities' (2 out of 40 plus cities being occupied), non-existent zone planning between industrial and residential areas (noted that explosion of the industrial plant at Tianjin several years ago right beside a 4 stars hotel), lack of visibility in the commercial laws (so fake companies can steal intellectual properties of others operated outside of the PRC), extreme abuse and corruptions among party members taking advantage of the weak and most vulnerable. True, there were probably a lot of dirty laundry behind every country. But none took the title of the 'Mass Murderer of the 20th Century' from Chairman Mao. No matter how much I disagreed with you, no human beings should hurt and killing others just because of opposing views. Not even a single human being, let alone 50 million plus of our own brothers and sisters. Including my own family members and many others, through no fault of their own, perished under this brutal regime. World Bank Report in 2009 described that 500 Million in the PRC was lifted from 'extreme' to 'abject' poverty. While the CCP lapped it all up and claimed that those people are no longer poor. No, if you read the definition. The difference was in the extreme side. People were earning about $0.25 USD per day. While the abject ones were earning from $0.26 to about $1.74 USD per day. Yes, it was an improvement. But hardly to brag about. What the CCP and its propaganda media doesn't want to show was the extreme in wealth between the city and the rural. Plus the huge gap from a poor farmer, to factory workers and those controlling the power and money. Nowhere in the world where the average salaries of the politicians are the highest except in the PRC. In the CCP, it pretty much exemplified why authoritarian rule is the necessary evil since 1949.

  204.  @catswimming3881  In places where the Western Powers (mainly the US) were trying to promise introducing democracy to places such as Panama, Libya, Iraq and so on. They were not. In fact, they were trying to overthrow the existing dictators with rebel groups of their backing who were just as brutal. Essentially, they became the puppet regime backed by a different master. So in a way as you can see, those countries replaced one dictator with another dictator. This has been repeated over and over again. Many of these Western backers simply believed that the conflict would be over once the original dictator is overthrown. But that's the easy part when you have the military means. The much difficult part is to get down, rolling up your sleeves to slowly educating the public about human rights and freedom, having a workable set to 'rule of law', rebuilding the networks and the infrastructures being destroyed, and everything else needed to having those people discouraged to rise once again for to improve themselves. This takes, time, money, people and a lot of effort to regain their trusts again. Otherwise, you will have Afghanistan and other powder keg simply because the chosen war lords now becomes the new dictator. It will only get worse. By the way, I am not saying Taiwan is perfect in comparison with the PRC under the CCP. But seriously, which one would you choose if you have an option? Exploiting the mass poor to make only the party members with their affiliates wealthy in the PRC. Is that justified? And how to the Mainlanders know what democracy really is if they don't even have a clue in the first place?

  208. So seriously, let's be completely honest here because OBVIOUSLY something is missing. Here are my serious doubts: 1. If you had said that Asian Boss NEVER ask for permissions from the government, aren't registered as journalists, plus the CCP/PRC Police of all levels, didn't objected to how you shot this particular video and the contents. Then how on earth could you get away with those video footages out of the PRC? 2. Carried on my first question. Were the authorities monitoring you? Also did you had their prior approvals of doing so? Because if you don't, then you are willingly violate their strict laws. You would either be heavily fined, being expelled out of the PRC as tourists, or going to jail. No one is THAT naive when it comes to the going to the PRC and never reading their laws. 3. Even if you can get away with all of that, then I suspect the PRC authorities were with you the whole time to make sure that 100 percent of the content by the responses of the PRC residents are all Pro-CCP. I have seen various subtle editing where you went back to several interviewees to package them nicely to stake their love for the PRC. 4. Surely the PRC/CCP was involved in every way from start to finish. No disclaimers were ever put up because Beijing wanted the great online reputation of Asian Boss to boost their profile in the Western World. Solely based on your previous credibility on YouTube. You have to play along in order to fool all of the potential viewing audiences to also be sympathetic to the PRC/CCP. I know Mr. Park and the rest of the Asian Boss team meant well initially. But unfortunately, they were gullible and being played by the PRC/CCP's propaganda machine. Of course, if they are that naive and never considered the dire consequences in the first place, they wouldn't be pretending to be so bold to attempting this risky project. Not everyone is THAT stupid to buy-in with those tired, rehearsed and laughable turd responses by the PRC residents in this video. Folks, that was what is like living in a Rule by Law CCP Communistic Dictatorship where they were forced to be brainwashed and speaking completely alongside with their regimes. Or we can agree to disagree with open and transparent media where we can get all sides and opinions of the issues, then having passionate arguments (and being respectful to others with opposite views) to debate the pros and cons on their opinion spectrum. At the very least, living in a Full Democracy means that our freedom of speech is protected by the law. While Mr. Park and his Asian Boss team thinks that they could pull a fast one on us with the PRC's asinine views on the West, in full accordance to the CCP's powerful propaganda machine. However, the sad fact of the difference between Rule of Law Democracy and our rights being protected, and the Rule by Law Dictatorship where those rights never existed nor allowed, were abundantly clear in this video. Then again, you need to have both factors of "Wisdom" - to have the smarts to see through the charades by Beijing in the PRC, and "Courage" to speak out and advocate for the positive change necessary to eliminate this chronic abuse of Human Rights by the biggest enemy of human kind - The Chinese Communist Party led by Chairman Xi Jinping. Also, it is completely up to you whether you agree or disagree, and having the intelligence and motivations to change for the better. Or siding with the CCP and being a part of the real problem. You decide.

  246.  @LeisRealTalk  Being born and raised in Hong Kong myself. I knew the history of the CCP and the danger Beijing posed in the city well before the Globalization policy since the late 1970s. It is more apparent with the history of the CCP's influence and interference globally, even prior to the United Front Work Department assault in North America, Europe, Australasia and so on. More details and books are coming out regarding to the shady sides of the CCP. Particularly their non-lethal tactics of using 20 different types of warfare to use our Western Freedom, Democracy and Liberty completely against us. They hope to incite hatred and in-fighting with some of our long-standing issues to practically breaking up the Democratic World from within. Meanwhile with their rapid expansions of their "Belt and Road Initiative" by impoverished their poor partners saddling with huge debts, plus money laundering in their scam infrastructure projects, Chairman Xi can easily colonized them to expand his power for wealth, resources and greed. The same tactics are being used at the international stage with the siege of the United Nations and other important positions on the globally recognized groups. Therefore by being the leader in the Den of Thieves with their Dictatorship and Authoritarian brother regimes, they can expand their scope and threatening the world with their 'China 2025' and the ultimate goal of "Worldwide Domination by Communism" no later than 2049. Therefore, the CCP can finally realized their original 1964 ambition by Mao from the two placards at the gate of Tiananmen Square in Beijing that read, "All hail to the People's Republic of China. All hail to the great unity of the global citizens." At first glance, many will be mistaken as a sign of peace and harmony. If you look closely and fully understand the full evil motive and intentions behind those words by the CCP. It is to completely enslave Our Planet and Humanity under the Totalitarian Control by Beijing themselves. In other words, this will be the 21st enactment of the original goal by Nazi Germany after World War II. This time around, it is the CCP's own "Chi-Nazis" who are pushing for this ultimate agenda.

  256.  @jimbob-robob  Did you even know the story? That was in Vancouver. What that video didn't show was that cat and mouse game continued for a while between the counter-protester holding the sign that said, "Hold CCP Liable! Stop Asian Hate!", and the security guard. Later on, the chase was taken up by Steve Ting, one of the organizers for Asian Canadian Equity Association (ACEA). They were discovered as a direct link with the United Front. That counter-protester was detained by the security. Her sign was taken away and was escorted by the police from the rally. She didn't do anything wrong and had every right to be there to exercise her freedom of right, freedom of speech and also her right for public assembly. All of them are protected under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom. Yet, what ACEA did was completely against the law. Also, didn't you find that it was ironic that one Asian was harassed and abused by other Asians in an Anti-Asian Hate (AAH) Rally? We see shit like this in Hong Kong and the PRC with protesters being detained, assaulted and even disappeared. So you want to fucking seeing this in Canada or in New Zealand? Also, the main financial backer of ACEA, is none other than Guo Hong (also by her alias Chen Hong). Guo is a known figure in Richmond, British Colombia. ACEA is registered in her business office. She is a former lawyer notorious for being sued in various lawsuits by her former clients for misappropriation of funds totaled more than $13 Million CDN. Also two other banks did the same as well under the same charges for the purpose of fraudulent activities. Her barrister license was in process of being revoked by the provincial law society and now longer able to practise law. In addition, she ran for the 2018 Mayoral Race in Richmond. She proclaimed in a media interview that she denied any genocide in Xinjiang. The Uyghurs were a bunch of terrorists and the CCP was right to detain and reformed them at the re-education camps. Her backers immediately removed themselves for supporting her. Prior to the 3/28 event, she ran the WeChat site and fanning the hate for the AAH group. One Chinese-Canadian journalist, Chen Zhou, were asking poignant questions to both herself and main organizer Xing (David) Zhang. They were extremely defensive and became angry. When Ms. Zhou's honest and unflattering article in Simplified Chinese was published in their local media website. The 500+ strong Pro-CCP shills and Guo hurled insults at Zhou, with one member repeatedly called her a "whore". Once again, what kind of an image does the CCP really wants to show? Pretty much being hypocrite with the Mainlanders beating up on anyone against Beijing? I know where you are coming from. But we are talking about the CCP. So why the hell are you changing the topic with "What about-ism?" with the CIA? Can't you just stick to the topic? Or you are a fan of the CCP yourself?

  287. Dear Lei: Thank You once again for your excellent video and points throughout. May I actually bring a few more points to this wonderful topic: 1. The story of Teresa Deng: When she was referred to as "Little Deng", she was victimized by both the CCP and KMT from their own style of propaganda. On the CCP front, what you mentioned was obvious, Deng's sweet voice and personalities truly melted the hearts of the brainwashed PRC citizens. Fearing losing control of their own people through brainwashing, of course, Deng and his minions did not like it. In fact, many of Deng's music records and cassette tapes were smuggled through Hong Kong, where Deng transformed into the truly mega Global Star sensation during the 1970s. In fact, her fluency in Japanese did much the same affection in Japan. Of course, the Japanese government never shut her down like those in the PRC. The KMT in Taiwan, on the other hand, thought that the popularity of Deng in the PRC was probably the use of the CCP's own Propaganda campaign to make her famous. Gaining majority of her riches there. Therefore, they banned her ROC passport and citizenship, leaving poor Teresa an outcast ironically in opposite political ideologies to unseat each other. It was much, much later that KMT rescinded that ban for Teresa, whom by then settled in Hong Kong before her tragic and untimely death during her vacation in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on suspected overdose of medication treatment for her asthma. 2. The mentioning of the movie, "Mao's Last Dancer", were similar to the complete twisted narratives used by the CCP for Bruce Lee's epic and iconic Martial Arts themed movies. What Bruce was trying to do through his films was explaining that you must fight the oppressors to once again regain your freedom as his Universal Theme. This resonated well with the worldwide audience who truly understand this global message as he explained expertly from his famous 1971's television interview in Hong Kong with Canadian author and personality Pierre Berton, in the "Pierre Berton show". The link for the entire September 12th, 1971 recording can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk1lzkH-e4U 3. There is a growing misleading perception about the CCP/PRC and the Chinese Civilization and culture itself. Not only they came from the obvious lies and fabrication by the CCP, as explained expertly by Lei in this video. Outside the PRC, in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America, some of the so-called online KOLs, were making up their own half-truths and lies with their own twisted views on the CCP/PRC. Why? Just like supermarkets selling entertainment tabloids, the more salacious and unreal the dirt regarding the CCP/PRC, the more people wants to pay and subscribe to update on their cravings of those dirt. In Hong Kong, we called them with the term "eating peanuts" - A pure form of wasting valuable time to watch or listen to these absolute non-sense. All to the benefits of the KOLs who are fattening their wallets spreading false rumours and lies. This is not helping the causes of truly understanding the real issues of the CCP/PRC. In fact, they are no different than being brainwashed at false information regarding this truly horrible regime. In other words, it is just another form of mass-conversion and brainwashing exactly in the forms of the Soviets. Now being used by the CCP worldwide, to change these easily influenced people into Marxist-Leninist fundamentalists, with Chinese Characteristics of course. Yes, people like Lei and I would like people to be Anti-CCP itself, but not the PRC Mainlander citizens because they are all victims with CCP's brainwashing techniques since 1950. Albeit they just don't know it at all. In order to fight them back, we have to do it with true "Wisdom" and "Courage". Wisdom must be derived from proven facts and truths, so you can establish your own foundation of knowledge with your own ideologies built on the solid ground. Then you can formulate ideas and using your own convictions and courage to derive plans for positive, constructive and affirmative actions to overcome this 21st Century Evil Monster intended to destroy our planet - Holding our entire human race as hostages. I hope that Lei gives you the understand that you need, in order to go deeper to search for more. Don't just taken these video as informational tidbits about the PRC and the CCP. Find something more. Like peeling off the skins of the onion to get into the usable layers. This is all we as humans need to strive for. All of us have a wonderful brain that is woefully underused based on our own ignorance and stupidity. Let's open up ourselves to dig deeper and find out the real beauty of the ancient Chinese Civilization along with their drawbacks. So we can learn. Also to boldly uncover the hideous evil intentions of the CCP from their layers of deceptions, lies, charades and various way of camouflages from their publications, press conferences, official speeches and reports. Just like the famous tagline of "X-Files": "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE." We just have to look for it!

  291. The one particular video footage happened in Vancouver occurred on Sunday March 28th, 2021. There were 6 other similar rallies that afternoon across Canada. The one with the black jacket that blocked the Anti-CCP protester was revealed as Steve Zhao. One of the organizer of the event on behalf of the main group, Asian Canadian Equity Alliance Association (ACEA). ACEA is a United Front Worker Party of China's organization in Canada, where they have direct connections with their WeChat and Weibo group spreading Pro-CCP agendas. In fact, all of those rallies were choreographed and planned with the directives of the CCP themselves. Similarly, just like the Black Lives Matter (BLM) Movement, the Anti-Asian Hate (AAH) Movement was also planned by the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) in the US, the oldest United Front Group started in San Francisco since 1972. Your suspicion of collaboration between the BLM and the AAH by the CPA was well founded. Also some of the Canadian AAH rallies had the support of BLM as well behind the scene. Their recruitment of these innocent activists who wanted to make a change for the society, could be easily converted to full-fledge Marxist. As the three original leaders of the BLM are all claimed to be trained Marxists themselves. Their plan for the BLM and the AAH is simple: Converting "African and Asian Liberation Movements" to "Marxist Pan-African and Pan-Asian Movements". The goal? Simple! "World Domination by Communism." The CCP wants to finish the mass global conversion plan to Marxism by fanning the flames inside the chaos within all global democratic countries. Beijing believed that they can finish the job left behind by the Soviet Union when they left it off since the 1990s. The more people can discover this trap. The better they can be. Racism against Asians has been going on in the US for well over 200 years and Canada for at least 150 years. The problem is serious and it does exists. However, to conveniently blame it on the recent violence with the CCP Wuhan Coronavirus Global Pandemic is never a good excuse. Besides, there were a number of races inciting violence against Asians. So we should not be just stereotype on just the Caucasians alone. In fact, there are Asians being racists against other Asians within the same continent, plus inside their same countries as well. Asia is also a vast continent from as far West as Turkey, South in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Southeast Peninsula and the East Asian Countries including Asian part of Siberia in Russia. Therefore, we should never be stereotype because the AAH Movement only had the East Asian and the Pacific Islanders. They hardly represented everyone at all in reality.

  293.  @kellydon2294  That's fine. It is freedom of speech. So according to your statement above, then I can't express my own opinions if there were things missing in Lei's video and some of them completely misleading and factually wrong? What is this? Communism? No one is perfect here and there were quite a few holes to be filled. What Lei mentioned was assuming the entire Chinese culture of their success in early 20th Century of East Asia in Football, without naming that it was all from the British Colonial city of Hong Kong. That was simply not the case as most Asians knew the South China Athletic Association (SCAA) where Mr. Lee Wai Tong led, was from Hong Kong, and as Hong Kongers, we supported the ROC with their endeavours. When you initially watched that video. You would probably had the false impression that the impressive story of the ROC team and South China was all part from the Mainland China during the ROC rule. Had I not pointing out the truth and the facts, would you even know that was wrong? Nor that you cared because you are taken this simply from an entertainment point of view? Rather than looking at it in an educational sense, but didn't know that it was full of holes as it turns out? What I am saying was that there are a lot more information that was going on with that particular pages of history with Lei conveniently left out. For many of the Western viewers like yourself, it was not a fair and balanced view. If you are interested, there are a ton of books written in Chinese and a few translated to English on that specific subject. Lei did a decent job of skimming over the history of Football in Mainland China, which was none to speak of until recently. As the title of "The Best in East Asia" was often the team represented by all Hong Kong Professional Players until the 1970s. But as a born and raised Hong Konger, she did not represented the history in a fair and balanced way. My job is to put the addendum and balanced it out. If you for example, taken just partial information as a whole with tons of important facts missing, then you sir are suffering the same bias as the modern media in both the Democratic and the Dictatorship realms. More entertainment than factual in terms of news. This is a Democracy, if you like to be misled with partial information, that's your own right without knowing that yourself is being short changed. Social media are full of these holes, as well as education, news information and others too. If someone represents something that was not correct or missing, shouldn't there be others who are more knowledgeable to kindly filled the hole? And for you to stifle my right to express in this manner? Aren't you a trifle being a bully to deny my own personal right under the law? You have your own opinion as well as mine. I am more happy to agree to disagree. Then again, if I am saying something misleading about your own culture, wouldn't you do exactly the same to set the record straight in the first place? Just saying.

  297.  @kellydon2294  Yes, I am aware of my Irish name because I was born Catholic. The name is Scotch-Irish. In fact, this particular name (Latin: Canicus) himself was a patron saint of Kilkenny (after the Red Ale). His travels of Scotland and Ireland were mainly for the purpose of promoting education and charities to those who were impoverished. The more common name is Kenneth and of course, Candice for the ladies name. I am not that smart on the contrary as I am full of flaws myself. However, unlike the many conventional minds, I would rather read educational and inspirational books, watch a few more documentaries and educated myself constantly to improve what little I have known. Education is a lifetime process and people should always be humble with their knowledge. Also to fully and honestly applied (without any prejudice) what you have known constantly to improve the human welfare-at-large around the world. This is the fullest extent of the Latin's definition of Education: "To give out". So therefore, not for the few ambiguous letters behind your certificates come what may, but to contribute selflessly to your fellow brothers and sisters for the benefit of the human kind as a whole. As for my book, I am only about 60 percent completed with over 1,500 pages of research still has to go. Yes, I had written over 1,800 pages so far but there were more information and other revisions. I would have a scaled down version (and also a textbook version if there is a similar subject being taught at the undergraduate level) and depends on the future sales of the initial book, there would be hopefully 8 to 10 books with various topics on the CCP and other global issues which I would be able to getting them printed more readily. Thank you for your encouragement and much appreciated. My goal for the book was for two purposes: 1. To have the true history based on correct factual information and unbiased views. 2. For those Hong Kong Freedom Fighters, those who are still alive and fighting for the truth and justice, especially the tens of thousands unnamed ones who passed away or gone missing, the book would be a tribute for their selfless belief and acts of bravery for Democracy and Freedom. So much that they had sacrificed their lives against this evil dictatorship without any fears whatsoever. To those future readers, I would like to say that Freedom is never free, never taken it and the priceless rights of Freedom of Speech and expressions. Freedom of the Press , and Independent Judiciary for granted. Colin Kaepernick took a knee because of those of our forefathers and mothers who were willingly sacrificed for us so we can live in a land of the brave and home of the free. In many parts of the world, including the USA, the CCP had been interfering and influencing for decades. My book would open a lot of what they had done. We must stopped them before our country would be imploded: Which is what Beijing exactly wanted us to do.

  300. Some personal observations on my part: 1. The old fart who supported Russia and Putin. He is wearing a "New York Yankees" baseball cap. Does he have a bloody clue with that baseball team and what the US represents? 2. At 2:56 of the video that woman said, "This is an issue of another country's sovereignty, so China has no right to interfere." But wait a second though, didn't the CCP with Xi already allowed UnionPay to circumvent the foreign currencies ban and the SWIFT embargo? Why is it that I ALWAYS CAUGHT pretty much ALL OF THE CCP AND THEIR LEMMINGS' OWN LIES???? Also the PRC supported Russia, that means they backed Putin to invade Ukraine, correct? 3. At 4:41 of the video, another young woman responded the reporter's question by how the PRC dealt with this Russian invasion as "Peace". How freaking brainwashed is she? When is the PRC EVER PEACEFUL WITH THEIR 11 NEIGHBOURS AT THEIR BORDERS???? Especially all those blood shed against their own people? The CCP is the only regime who murdered more than 100M of their own people and also killed 500 Million more unborn babies under their "One Child Policy". 4. At 6:31 of the video, the young man said the relationship between the PRC and Russia as "Positive". Obviously, he NEVER read or studied proper history of the border land territories between the two sides, with BOTH laying claim to their own. Also both the Soviet Union and the PRC hated each other with a brief skirmish. 5. At 6:51 of the video, another young man said that the PRC has a "neutral" stance. If that's the case, then why is the PRC backing Putin with their economic initiatives and their political support if they choose to invade Taiwan? 6. The same old fart from Point 1 literally said in 7:40 of the video that PRC and Russia are like "Brothers". NO! HELL FREAKING NO!!!! Any studied the basics of Classical Communism is that Communist Brothers only aligned themselves with convenience, but they all they wanted was the kill each other. This was shy the PRC tried to invade Vietnam because Vietnam stood up against Cambodia's Pol Pot, who killed at least 2 million of his own people while Beijing backed him. So the CCP took revenge to Vietnam instead. Both were and are still communists, right? Also at 7:47, he lied through his stinky mouth and said that the PRC has never tried to dominate the world like the US. If that's the case, then what the hell was the 2013, "Belt and Road Initiative" by making other countries as the PRC's own colonies? 7. At 10:42 of the video, this young woman described Putin as "Charming" because he is very "Goal-Oriented". Now did that make any sense to any Westerners? Probably not. Brainwashed people simply lacked their recognition for creativeness and cognitive thought patterns. Then she said that his political actions and his consequences are a bit nerve-wrecking. This she said it right no the point. But still, why she didn't compare Pooh Xi to Putin? But said that he is determined to protect his country and people. Both points were false. He imprisoned and tortured all his political enemies. Also he hoarded billions upon billions of the country's wealth and stole taxpayers' hard earned revenues. Pretty much the same with the CCP. 8. Not surprisingly, the young man with glasses and black jacket had the best answers and the neutral part of view.

  313. That is what Dictatorship is like. My esteemed friend who was with the Table Tennis Canada back in the 1970s and 1980s. He was one of the Canadian delegate in the 1979 World Table Tennis championship in North Korea. Also he was invited to the PRC and was amazed at the Royal Welcome, the same cheering people on the street and the State-like visit. Then I asked him about this as a complete facade. For example, was there anyone on the Canadian side could freely going outside of the CCP's regimented daily schedule and agenda for them? Did anyone dared to ask those CCP officials questions they were not comfortable about? All those propaganda and pictures they were taken, where did they think they ended up? Most of all, were they being used as expensive puppets as 'endorsements' in Canada by the PRC media and publications as "ALL CANADIANS being thrilled by the hospitality by the PRC and the ideology of the CCP"? Beijing is COUNTING that none of the Canadians knew any Chinese and their Chinese reporting was a wholly different script. Also there weren't any Canadian or Western journalists allowed to cover the truth, either. Therefore, Mainlanders PRC were, and still easily deceived by the CCP Propaganda machine. What was then close to 40 years ago who was experienced by him, who is an esteemed Professor Emeritus by the way. Never for once realized that until I mentioned that. This is how brainwashing works, it is an efficient and effective tool to control the masses. Not only in the PRC but around the world. It takes an individual who is SERIOUSLY considering with MAKING A CHANGE FOR THE DIFFERENCE. Starting with 'Acknowledgement' to know that such problem occurred, and is still on-going. It would only get worse if we don't stop it once and for all. Then, with critical thinking, looking for truth from proven facts, and truly understands the problem: "Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How" it became such a crisis. Once you have the basic background and comprehend it enough for the foundation of knowledge as a form of 'Awareness', then formulate constructive 'Actions' to resolve it altogether. This works no matter how the problem is a small trivial one in your personal life, or a huge matter such as dealing with the CCP and their global interference and influence. Beijing will not stop until they completed the goal of "Dominate the World with their own ideology of Marxist-Leninist ideology, all with Chinese characteristics." How did I know that? It was written in the two huge placards outside of Tiananmen Square back in 1964. Loud and clear in Chinese. The message of peace and global harmony might fool many. However, it was their evil intentions hidden from within which were the most sinister of all. It is time for people to wake up, take off their blinders about the CCP and the PRC, and learn more to make that change. No matter how much Matt, Winston, and others who keep revealing all these stories. Unless you as an individual will truly make that change yourself and act on it like this simple 3 steps process of 'Acknowledgement, Awareness, and Action', it will be way, way too late to say, "What the hell just happened?" By that time, it will be pointless to say, "I told you so!" when you are already at the abyss. Now, what are YOU going to do?

  317. Projected vs. Reality. The Wuhan Coronavirus Global Pandemic is not only completely changing our way of social lives, political governance and other economic factors. The traditional way of business models and projections in both long and short terms are completely changed as well. The tried and true globalization model leaning mostly on the growth of the PRC as the cheap manufacturer source, plus the basis of the greatest economic growth in the world, might be a bit too far fetched to lean on this country to put all the eggs in one basket. Simply put, we don't even know how 2021 will be like, either optimistically it could be improved and reverse the trend of 2020, maintaining the same dire projections of the current uncertainty if the vaccines and other measures are not effective, or perhaps the mutations of the virus itself could lead to long-term shutdowns and unforeseen debts where countries simply cannot get out of their debt spirals. We have seen the horrors of packed passengers during the holiday seasons away from the lockdowns, but outbreaks and even deaths inside the planes itself. There is a fine line of trying to squeeze the potential revenues to stay afloat versus the potential liability of jeopardizing safety, enduring increasing negative perceptions, handling potential lawsuits and penalties, plus having airlines, airports, supporting industries, and even the entire air travelling realm in complete jeopardy. It is more crucial for the travel and air transportation industry itself to actively and creatively adapting these changes quickly. Whether the trust and the consumers' confidence can be safely correlated to relaxation of the health restrictions, plus the pandemic guidelines which ensures the well-being of their paying customers to once again going back to the former 'normal' way of lives.
