  1. "Tariffs raise prices" is not a "libertarian" argument. It is a free market, pro-trade argument. The argument is that each country does what it does best. Tariffs are like subsidy. Tariffs suppot inefficient industries.

  2.  @moose6869  USA uses tariffs against unfair competitors. For example: against China if it refuses to uphold IP laws.

  3.  @moose6869  Your projecting you bias on to me. I never said that. I think tariffs can be OK when carefully used. For example the threat of tariffs against Canada just saw Canada enforcing border controls.
