  1. No sensible rationalist ever believed that "Enlightenment rationality will rule us all". We know conmen and women are a thing; and will ALWAYS be. We know people lie to promote their careers, politics, causes and bank balances. So shall it always be. I'm tired of the anti-Enlightenment crowd and their binary views on life.
