The Dems literally only talk to each other (internal monologue). If any of them are found talking to Reps they'll be demonized as rightists, libertarian, Fascist, or Nazis. Their culture of censorship means everyone is wrong apart from them. So they're happy to deplatform everyone. They literally think "libertarians are Nazis". So censorship and internal monologue depend on each other. The former enables the latter; and the latter justifies the former.

  5. It's more Kafka than Orwell. In Orwell the spooks are ordered top-down with a masterplan. In Kafka, the cops or spooks persecuting Josef K made it up along the way.
