  2. There was a lot of upper class conceit back in Victorian times. Snobbery So Marx basically reversed that with his ideology - turned it inside out. Turned proles from an object of fear and derison of the upper class - to world saviors. It's all so black and white. Just like Anti-Fa today. Marxism is the cartoon version of history.
