  1. Curious fact: About 600 BC Greeks believed humanity was only ten generations old and was descended from the gods. About 600 BC a Greek traveller visited Egypt and told that origins story to an Egyptian priest. The priest shows the Greek his ancestral tree doing back 300+ generations. So the Egyptians, especially the royal family, were meticulous in recording their ancestry. Anyhow, the open-minded Greek went back to Greece and eventually, Greeks no longer believed humanity was only a few generations old.
