  1. Douglas Murray is slightly erroneous here. Mathematics is NOT the Western way of knowing; empiricist reason is. Much maths has little to do with the real world (with empiricism); for example n-spaces, where n > 3, are fabulous creations but reality shows the world we live in is a 3D space. PS: 'fabulous' as in fantasy, not as in fab, cool, good, ...

  2. "We dealing with people who don't know what they're going to do. They're just going to pull everything down then wing it." <- It's worse than that. They believe nothing works; or perhaps they cannot point to or cite anything they think works. So they can have no confidence that anything else, after the teardown can be made to work.
