If, what I hear out of US higher education is valid everyone's gaming the PhD system. This kind of plagiarism is probably one of the easiest to do. She's basically taking plausible sounding passages from other people. Changing one or two key words or phrases to argue for some other point. The fundamental problem is that in many areas of social "science" there is no science. There's only rhetoric. A student with a hypothesis (such as white fragility) should have to show it with empirical evidence. She should've been required to do actual research. This would involve rephrasing her white fragility idea as a testable hypothesis. Then doing empirical work to validate or falsify that hypothesis. But education is now so corrupt that this sort of rigorous work is poo pooed. Instead, soft and woolly academia rewards innovative ideas - even when they are garbage. Hence: PhDs awarded for what is essentially garbage writing. This is the legacy of the long march through the institutions. Not so much the Marxification of education - more the enabling &, even mandating, of rhetoric and idiocy. This problem with rhetoric dominating the work of soft "sciences" is particulary bad in education - of all places. Her PhD is in education. Don't stop with DiAngelo. Sack her PhD examiners too - they enabled it. They are the source of the actual corruption destroying academia.

She'll probably try to turn the issue around to accuse her accusers. But they won't be accused of white fragility. They'll be accused of bening MAGA-adjacent.
