  1. This is garbage. Was it written by computer as well as being narrated that way? When the Turks finally conquered Constantinople to end the Eastern Roman Empire they, basically, killed or enslaved all the Christian population; then repoplulated the city with Turks. Yet later the narrator lies to us by claiming the modern population were "descendents of the byzantines".
