Adulthood is linked to taking responsibility in life. It's evidently linked to sexual and biological maturation too. But the essential point is kids have no responsibilities = they cannot be 'adults'. How can people be offended by KS? Easy. Their lifestyle is their identity, and KS threatens some ot that. She's not the only philosopher cancelled by identity fanatics.

Identities are just sets of behaviours: habits. Being a man is not just an identity; it's more a biological state. I blame the Left for the current mess. The Left are obsessed with the notion that everything is social, which comes with its concurrent 'blank slate' view of humanity. Today's identity politics are entirely Leftwing constructs; and the plan to build a left alliance around identity politics is at least 4 decades old. So the fictions of the trans movement is, a by-product of the Left building political alliances. The Right are happy to go along with this identity politics because the Right acknowledge no particularly positive politics of their own. The Right is more than happy to see the end of class-based politics (so the replacement of class by identities is a big win for the Right). If the right had pushed back against the worst of idetntity politics this trans nonsense would never have been the success it became.

"Crazy to unpick all the good work feminists have done" <- when will a feminist admit that they invented the gender nonsense upon which the trans movement is built? This trans identity gender-bender nonsense came from the gay and feminist movements. Those are the kind of difficult questions I'd like to see KS answer. Instead of daring to get to the roots of the sociopathy (which sees men running women's rape crisis centers, and a medical industry built to trans kids). The interviewer plays at devils advocate, as a way of ignoring the difficult questions he knows KS will not answer.
