  2. Perhaps a fork is in order? Rinux or Linust for the version with Rust, and Fossilized Crud for the version without?

  3. But there's also Redox O/S. So why add Rust to Linux? Why not simply treat Linux as a black body implementation to be mimiced. Just like Linux mimicked Unix? Ensuring that you don't also mimick bugs. One cannot make other coders write literate, readable, clean, bug-free code.
