  1. Radio 4 removed many of their best shows and presenters, to be replaced with ? I'm an ex-Radio 4 listener. I don't know whether the ? new stuff was all "woke". It probably was. It was certainly irrelevant to me. By the time I stopped listening to Radio 4, Tom Hartford was the only remaining presenter, from 7 years ago whom I still wanted to listen to. All the other greats, and their shows, had been culled; presumably for not being woke, or yout enough? The degeneration in the World Service was even worse.
