  1. The skill is called debate. It works by taking evidence and generalizing from the evidence. With debate, one isn't allowed to take a theory first approach. Having said that, KK was clearly generalizing here. He gets away with it because if you interrupt him, he'll be able to defend his generalizations - because he'll only embrace such a generalization when he's been convinced by evidence! Most people just regurgitate arguments they've heard. A skilled debater regurgitates arguments they've acquired from a bottom-up (facts first) perspective.

  3. Has Konstantin Kisin been reading Andy West's book "The Grip of Culture"? which deconstucts the Green Cults of pseudo-climate and pseudo-environmentalism?

  4. It is not "common sense". It's an empircism-first approach to understanding the world. KK is applying the methods of the European Enlightenment ;but not the "big thinkers"; more the little thinkers. KK is more Denis Diderot than Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
