I agree 100% that people that feel they are in a wrong body need psychological support, yet unfortunately the same medical system supports them and goes along. I know of someone that expressed she expressed that she felt like male when she was 16 and wished for her breasts to be removed and Kaiser Permanente and her family immediately made her wish a reality. When my daughter told me the same when she was 17 and I booked 10 psychological appointments out our my own pocket, yet she refused them and went to live with her father who unfortunately had the Kaiser Permanente coverage. I was denied any information and not included in any decision making. I know from third parties that she started taking hormones about a year ago, I do not know if they removed her breasts because she strange herself from me and someone tells me that after 16 they are independent to make those decisions without parents consent. There is a lot of money to be made from every individual that expresses gender dysphoria and think that they will feel better by changing their body. While I was younger I did not like my body and wished I was taller, had ebony lustrous hair and blue eyes... Imagine if the medical system would have jump a the opportunity to fulfill my wish and add about a foot to my height, remove my brown eyes and substitute them for blue ones as well as somehow change my hair color for a lustrous ebony black. I think, that we all have wish one time or another that things were different and had the delusion that by obtaining such, we would be happy... Unfortunately, I was unable to prevent my child from the course she has taken, all I have left is to pray that someone or something helps her disengage mentally from the madness before there are irreparable consequences. My heart aches and it feels as if my beautiful daughter has vanished and wonder if I will ever see her again. What is a woman? I asked myself... Woman = "she who suckles" Being a woman is a form of initiation : A woman "knows" she is a woman when her first moon cycle arrives (menstruation) which announces that you are ripe and you can join you mother in the line of humanity. Men do not have that privilege of knowing so clearly when they become man. Maybe men castrating themselves to become "women" and women mutilating their breasts and their arms to become "men" is signaling a much deeper problem: how lost we feel in our current world and how disconnected we have become from each other within our community. How modern medicine promises to deliver "anything" for your happiness...
