@capridillon thank you for your prayers, I humbly welcome them. When I wrote my book about 8 years ago, I did not know that the person who I thought it was my father was a actually the man who bought my mother out of the sex ring.
My mother was with him until I turned 4, then went back to Mexico, where she puked not take care of me. Then brought me yo my grandparents snd left me there for a year, then brought me back to Acuna, Coahuila, Mx and left me with a lady that took care of me. I was 7. My mother came back 2 years later and did know it was my mother… I asked her yo take me with her because I told her : “ they go not love me here, they best me daily.” She slapped me and told me that I was an ingrate and that there was no other better place for me. She left the next day and I saw her when I ran away at 13 years old. Child support agencies got involved snd dud had to go get me. I was angry with her and ended up by myself, she left. Too much to explain 😊
For 2 years I went from home to home and when I was 15 I ended up in a catholic boarding school and 6 months later I was notified that my mother was dying of cancer. I went to see her before she died. I left the boarding school at 18th and went on my own again. Yet, alone was hard and at 21 came yo the states met the father of my children, marry and divorced 15 years ago.
Yes, it has been very challenging. Yet, so how here I am still going 😊

So interesting… somehow this brings back memories of a past history: during the Black Plague some people locked themselves in castles and their skeletons were discovered 100”s of years later ( Australia is isolating from the rest of the world), other people were locked down in their homes by their community (Austria is house arresting the unvaccinated) and the healthy died of starvation because they were immune to the disease yet locked down with the sick. Of course people wore masks that we now we clearly know it did not do nothing to prevent the disease.
So fascinating how humans tend to repeat history… I think is time to get out of this virus rhetoric and start talking about how our new society will function (less consumptions of goods, live life with less and stop the mass productions, local markets and governments, support the individual autonomy and freedom of choice, work together towards beauty and functionality, deciding that we have enough food, enough resources, enough of everything to go around for everyone). The question becomes: How can I serve instead of
"how can I protect myself and my family or how can I accumulate assets." Are we going to continue focusing with what is wrong instead of what is right, focusing on the prevention of death instead of choosing to live life fully.
The bottom line is this: we are the survivors of all the previous plagues in history...
Maybe is time to see our own behavior and move in a direction accepting life in its own terms- death is part of life.
We cannot win agains viruses, surrendering to life and stop this hysteria maybe the best option.

@jonathanray7931 I thank you for your reply and you are probably right that I do not have hope this situation will ever change because this behavior of slaving others for personal gain is very very old... How far back you will like to go.
I paused and thought about your comment and I found this on Quora from Bijoy Padmanabhan:
"The difference between trust and belief can be explained by an illustration.
There was once a tight rope walker Blondin who could perform death defying feats without support or life saving equipment. Crowds gathered to watch his feats. He would walk across Niagara falls over the tight rope. In an event, He performed the daring stunt and also took a wheel barrow over the tight rope. He asked the audience ' Do you believe that I can take the wheel barrow over the tight rope'. Every one in the audience believed and cheered him. He said 'In case you believe I can do it, who will sit on the wheel barrow'. There were no volunteers.
Here we see that every one had a firm belief that he could carry the wheel barrow successfully over the tight rope. But no one wanted to volunteer to sit in the wheel barrow and trust him with their life. Here you see the difference between belief and trust. You have a belief that Blondin will do it successfully but you don’t want to trust him with your life.
Similarly in terms of hope, it is a positive emotion. We expect a positive outcome. If I were part of Blondin 's audience , at the beginning of every stunt, I will hope that he performs the stunt successfully. I will hope that there is no mishap due to any unknown weather condition. Hope is all about expectations about a positive result.
Faith is a complete confidence in something. To form such a high level of confidence, Faith may not require a proof. We may have faith in God or our religion. There is a classic tale of a village suffering from drought and famine. Every one put their faith in prayer and decided to pray to god for rain. The example of faith was a small boy who came to the prayer with an umbrella. He had total faith that his prayers would be answered and he would need the umbrella for the rains that would come as a result of their prayers.
In our regular language, we interchangeably use the above terms but the context of each term is different."
I personally think I have no hope, nor faith. I simply do my part each day. What do I do first? whatever is in front of me, Who do I love first? whoever is in front of me. I have no hope in someone stopping this people sequestering others for their personal gain, nor hope they will stop, or hope this world will be a perfect place for everyone. I just KNOW what is the proper thing to do: If you see someone who needs a coat, take yours and give it to him. If I see someone in need I help, If I see someone that is asking for money, I give what I have in my wallet, If someone needs a bed and I have 3, I give them one.
Life is lived today and moment by moment. Hope and faith are in the future, a future that may never come. Day by day we weave our life. I trust in a benevolent universe because I am the proof of that - thanks to strangers willing to help, I have been able to survive the strong current of life. There is no good or bad, we make it so. For many years I thought my mother did not loved me because she abandoned me and left me in a place where I was beaten on a daily basis and denied any comfort or kind word, yet I look back and wonder: was her decision the best at the time? I will never know....

Marriage simply means "union." An alliance. I remember learning in high school that before the 1400's a man will moved into a woman's family house, he would become her husband, they would be unified. Then christianity made it a sacrament and of course it became a more standard way of doing business: you must get permission to get married, you must be approved by the holy church, you must paid a fee to get married because the only "valid" way to married was by the church.
I personally think that homosexuality is an anomaly, yet if two consenting adults choose to unite their lives and do in an honorable way by respecting and caring for one another, why would they not allowed to unite. People are getting hang up on the word marriage because it threatens their sense of safety and then possibly fear the world becoming homosexual and with this, of course no one will procreate if this were to happen, yet is very unlikely.
When we are attached to terms without knowing the history behind, we look foolish.
In my opinion, if christians have claimed the term "marriage" belonging to a "man and a woman" then homosexuals can claim the term "union" of 2 men or 2 women. They both mean the same, yet they are applied differently and everyone is happy. The word "Marriage" has a religious connotation, obviously. "Union" is clearly the adding 1+1 or heck 1+1+1 if that is what they desire.

@ZetsubenSama You are right, I forgot about one Roman Emperor that when his wife died, he took this young man whose features were similar than his wife and made him dress like a woman and therefore it was as if his wife was still alive.
I am not arguing against men marrying men or women marrying women, to me the word simply means "union." what I am suggesting is that traditionally a marriage implies a union between a man and woman to procreate. Find another word to symbolize your union, do not take one that traditionally means something for the majority. In my view, this makes things to flow easily without going back and forth.
If someone finds themselves threaten, of course they will fight you.
I have many friends that are homosexual and lesbians, I respect their right as human beings and their personal choices as long as they do not hurt others. There is a fine line that can be easily crossed: now they are arguing about giving children under 18 to have sex parental consent.
In my opinion, I would prefer to honor the healthy family system and when they become adults, they can choose, until then, parents have responsibility to care and guide their children.
By the way, the word "family" comes from the greek "property/possession." There you have it, how words have been bastardize over time. Now we have an utopian view of what a family is.... You speak of "earning" and I don't think anybody has "earned" anything, they spoke up and stand their ground and eventually the culture gave in. This is not always the case, that is way I do not believe in "earning." Somethings is time for things to go in certain direction.
I really know nothing. I am better off staying away from conversations. Everybody is already set on their own view and it is not my intention to change anybody.

@ZetsubenSama no offense taken. I thank you for realizing that I am not against anything really, as long as is a conscious decision. You are right about the cognitive dissonance in the US: We do not allow children to drink at 18, yet they are fully capable to handle a gun? Is a rubber band effect that in my opinion continues to keep us stuck in old ways.
You can see the culture in the US and if you go back in time, you realize that the same puritanism exist: we say this is the land of the free, yet we remain slaves to an industrial revolution where the only thing that matters is money and possessions.
I agree with you that change is necessary, I am just suggesting a smooth change, not a drastic one: By going side ways instead of head on, the resistance will be less.
Unfortunately we are easily derailed by the media and the corporations whose only interest is profit. They use the population to keep us fighting and arguing with one another while they cut their deals behind doors.
I believe we are a culture severely psychologically damaged, not that you are not 🙂It is that it seems that in Europe it helps you be next to many different cultures and have smaller country. The size of the US is immense and people are focus on working for their retirement and stop working-living in a future that never comes.
I agree with you, I was a single mother myself and there was no help at all to help me take care of my children, yet when someone saw something they thought it was wrong, they call the police immediately and the threat of your children being taken away is real. We are definitely on the way of destruction, yet that seem to be the only way to get out of this mess. We are so twisted mentally and psychologically: How do you explain pornography, drinking and driving, sexual abuse, mutilation of children claiming that they are in the wrong body (the human brain stops developing until the age of 27, I am just starting to find myself at the age of 55).
Thank you for engaging in the conversation, I appreciate another perspective and if we all could learn to open our minds and ponder that maybe, just maybe the other person could bring a point I have not considered before, we could be in a much better position. Most of the time we are engaging with people with a 2 year old brain that do not accept another point of view and would shut you down immediately because changing their mind means the end of the world.
Thanks again!

@LogicCaster The divorce rate jumped to 50% because women are finally being fed up with the physical and psychological abuse. Now we realize we do not have to put up with bulls...t. It is still an uphill battle when you divorce, yet staying and tolerating alcoholism, workaholism, pornography, video games, tv. There is no intimacy in marriage, there never was, except that now we see better and we are willing to take the exit when before there was no way to go.
Marriage means union. A union of 2 things.
I personally do not understand homosexuality, yet I respect each human being decision because they have right to make their own choices and I am nobody to tell them what sexual preference to have.
I think as human design goes, yes male and female were design to compliment each other, yet again, if someone finds themselves in a great relationship with another person of the same sex, what is the harm for society? I have known incredible people that are homosexuals and I can tell you that they are no different than you and me. I thinks is weird? yes, I do. I try to understand it, I sure try. The same way I do not understand pedophilia, pornography, sodomy, etc. Big difference with same sex people uniting (marrying) is that they are doing it in a consenting adults and as citizens they have every right to unity/marry with whomever the hell they want, as long as they do not force me to participate in their affair ;-)

@ZetsubenSama It was an enrichment interaction and I think we are actually in more agreement than you think. You say "potato, I say potatoes" and in the end, it seems that we both care about the well being of others and their indelible rights as human beings while in a society.
Unfortunately, once you get out in the open and express your opinion about something you will get those that get offended or "hurt" by your statements. Not taking things personally comes with emotional maturity, which most of us do not have.
When someone attacks my, I try to detach myself from the situation and look at it from a distance; almost like looking at at hungry tiger through a cage. Here in the USA unfortunately do not have the finesse to behave properly - we have so much to learn about propriety, compassion, kindness, acceptance.
I know is difficult to go out there and speak your mind, yet I think that if it feels that you must say something, it is best you say it than keep silent. Stay strong and do not take comments personal because they are not, attacks are usually a projection of oneself. I usually disregard disrespectful remarks, they are not worth my time 🙂
Be well!

Agree, right now every parental instinct is override by fear. My 16 year old announce to me when she was 16 that she felt like a man. I told her to wait until she turned 27 since I believe that the brain stops developing at that time. She instead went to live with her father who had Kaiser Permanente and I lost all contact with her. I was not allowed to make decisions even though she was under age and I was her legal guardian. I was written off and she has not spoken to me for 4 years. I was told she looks like her father which tells me she has taken hormones and probably removed her breasts. I know of another girl that had her breasts removed at age 10. Because I did not supported her claim I was alienated from the whole thing and lost my daughter.
I do wonder what is the role of this male chauvinist American society where there is no healthy sexuality and women are looked like sex objects (just notice all the pornography available) and that deep down there is no respect for women... starting with ourselves. I speak about this because I was codependent and it took about 15 years to heal all the past trauma of childhood. I married a narcissist (alcoholic and workaholic). I think that the bottom of the problem is all the psychological issues we have within us. At 54 I ask myself what makes me a woman and my whole life history comes to mind - my childhood experience being treated like a girl and subjected to a girl role, my moon cycle, my experience with young man, my desire to fit in, my marriage with someone who saw me as inferior and the realization I saw myself as inferior, giving birth to my children, the sleepless hours, the around the clock breastfeeding, my divorce, my struggle as a single mother, etc, etc. In short, life will show us what a woman looks like and acts like and with this nonsense speedy surgery and chemical treatments people think that being a "man" or a "woman" can be put in a "pill" as well. It is a childish way to look a life. I remember my adolescence being hell, hating the menstrual cycle, hating the development of my breast because I felt so self conscious, hating not being able to deal with social innuendos, intense depression. Life is hard period. Unfortunately the American "pursue of happiness" will be to our detriment.
Women have played this codependent role for lifetimes and now is calling us to have strong women leading the way and show us what does it look like to "be a woman" not to "look like a woman."

"Once upon a time... in a far, far away desolated land, where all hope has almost vanished away. A set of angels have been sent to light the world again.
The Earth has been taken over the spell of fight after fight where terror dominates. Few know very well how to control the humans that inhabit the land and they have used it for their own personal gain. Through fear they have gain control over time to the point that humans have forgotten their divine origin and have give way to the fear forces that surround them.
Yet from up from above, a benevolent force of beings have been sent to bring light to the world. The only way to save the earth from total darkness is if these being willingness to lead with their heart. The darkness is so dense that they will loose their way and they may not be able to find their way back home. Volunteers with a heart as big as the sun agree to the task. They believe the earth is worth being saved for and they are willing to perish for the cause. These angels must arrived to earth and experience what is like to be human, they must experienced all the human emotions and transmute them and turn them into gold in order to be able to accomplish their task. The pain, sorrow, anger, sadness all the human emotions and harmonize them within themselves before they can brighten their own light within and become beacons of wisdom and truth. Their strength increases slowly, one by one, their light within has become so bright that they now can recognized each other and begin light the world with the truth.
The more of them come together, the brighter the light becomes and the darkness on Earth starts to dissipate...."
