  2. Uh - Not too many say Ukraine is winning. The best I've heard is that they are holding their own. You know it's pretty remarkable that they can do that against a country that is so much larger and has so much more resources. It does seem to be a real battle of good vs evil. A huge country with an evil dictator invades a struggling democracy. If Ukraine does pull out of this war OK, the historians, novelists and movie makers will have a hundred years of material.

Yeh and then there's the lack of support for health care, wanting to cut Social Security and Medicare, their refusal to even accept human caused global warming as reality, running up huge Federal debt when they are in office and blaming Democrats when they are not, raiding the Capital on Jan 6, 2021, and generally being uncooperative on anything in politics. Without support,the Republicans will have to once again become an honest Conservative party offering sober fiscal responsibility. Right now they are a mess.

Cost of food in Russia increased 6 percent in October of 2023 over the same month in the previous year. Food Inflation in Russia averaged 9.15 percent from 2002 until 2023, reaching an all time high of 23.30 percent in February of 2015 and a record low of -0.91 percent in May of 2023. So - it's worse in Russia. The thing is that Russia always "Fudges" the figures. Things are often much worse. China is said to have deflation, but I wouldn't want to live there or Russia.

The MAGAs tell people what they want to hear and then proceed with their own baffling agenda. Hopefully, this Mike Johnson guy won't last. He makes all the Republicans look very bad. Thank you Jake for clearly pointing out reality. These guys try to blame old Joe Biden for stuff that they stop from getting done. More people ought to know this. Let's have a big win for Ukraine.
