  1. India has found Lithium deposits too. I think they are out there. In addition, there is more than one way to skin a cat. There are many many types of batteries. I mean, for example, most car batteries are still Lead-Acid.

  2.  @RealJohnnyDingo  The intent was not to give a given solution for all applications, but merely to point out there are alternatives. There are alternatives to lithium batteries. Nickel Cadmium was the previous favorite, but it was found to have more issues than lithium batteries.
