  1. Molten salt coupled with nuclear reactors could save some of that excess power. The extra power from wind could melt the salt. The nuke's turbine could be oversized to make use of the heat in the molten salt. When the wind and solar are not there, you'd still have the nuke.

  3. Lots of these types of things are subsidized. It may not have paid for itself, but it was a success. It was a success because it made money for the folks who built it.

It is obvious from one's own perspective, the historical perspective and the scientific consensus. I am not an expert. However, the experts are aligned despite your rhetoric. I could look up a lot of proof on the internet, but I have the idea that it is a waste of my time. The Earth is not flat. The moon is not made of green cheese. Have a good life.

  9. The video is dated August 2nd. It's a re-run. It is a good re-run. Good pragmatic video. It looks like nukes are the way to go to save the planet from the global warming thing. The world will get there but some people will be dragged kicking and screaming.
